- Part IV. Scorched and battered by an alien atmosphere, the surviving ships of the Empirion Expedition finally reach a distant uncharted planet on which they hope to make their own. The plant appears desolate but a survey shows primitive life. The commander immediately orders they be wiped out under secret colonisation protocols but most crew are unaware of these protocols and refuse to follow orders. When the commander tries to have them expelled, mutiny breaks out.

- A little girl plays with her friend, a cow, until she catches a cold. Her parents take her away from the cow for safety and bring her indoors. As boredom sets in, the cow decides to jump over the moon. The little girl laughs to see such fun, but she doesn't laugh for long as the cow gets stuck on the moon with little chance of return.
- When a dancing bear is gunned down by a man and a bear in an attack helicopter, the dead bear's boyfriend swears revenge. Removing the man's brain is the first step as it produces such feelings of guilt that it drives the man to madness. Meanwhile the rest of the dancing bears prepare for their final act.

However Lola loves Russell; a man she met in a night of passion who went off to become a war photographer where he was shot and lost a leg. Following last week's exciting semi-final, we are down to the last group of competitors who must work their way through increasingly limited spaces to be the first to reach the centre of the obstacle and claim the prize. The crowds are ready, the MTV visuals primed, the girls waxed and the announcers over-excited so, without further ado, lets get to the action.
- A teenage boy asks his dad for the lend of £20 to go out with his friend to watch the 'pool play. When he is refused unless he helps his dad do the paving in the front yard, the boy challenges his father to "gutwallops" in return for the cash. The "game" involves the boy taking punches in the stomach but yet remain standing; bringing out strong emotions between the two - both stubborn in their own way.
- A man high in a tower looks down through the sprawling city into a strange forest clearing that he has mimicked with models on his table. He assists with the balance of power within this world but will he have a part to play when the clearing begins.
- A young Chinese woman talks about the problems of donating blood when viewed against a traditional Chinese upbringing in the UK. Blood is precious and should only be giving to those within the family circle and not to any stranger who wants it. She tells about how she had to overcome family reservations in order to help the greater good by becoming a blood donor.
- On a small Kalahari farm things look bleak. It hasn't rained for ages and the well has run dry and the residents are just about hanging on with what little they have. As the farmers' daughter prepares to gamble on the final few seeds they have left something appears on the horizon which could be the salvation they have been praying for.
- In the late 20th Century many Asian immigrants were still holding onto their outdated and exotic beliefs about giving blood. This film looks at the myth of Asians not needing blood and thus not giving, giving blood making you anaemic and the misconception that there are plenty of blood donors around for ethnic minorities.

He follows their communication and intercepts another message about cakes and candles. However has he stumbled upon a plot of major importance or just something innocent?

- A Japanese woman delivers dialogue to a couple of cameras in a scene which needs subtitling. She appears to be delivering good news to someone unseen off-camera. However, the English subtitles are about someone who has been given a piece of Chinese dialogue to do subtitles for and is annoyed and frustrated that they are left to do this while the rest bugger off for a drink.
- An elderly Turkish migrant now living in New Zealand recounts his early days as a refugee in Auckland, as told to his grandson Joel. Memories are animated to echo the colourful, stream of consciousness storytelling and to capture the mindset of an aging man whose memory is starting to fade and sometimes struggles to be understood.
- A man arrives in town to visit a friend, using a map to try and find the house. Cutting up an alley he finds a woman chasing kids who photographed her sunbathing. He grabs one of the kids to stop him getting away but CCTV pictures make it look a lot more suspicious and soon he is on the cover of all the newspapers as a child molester. His progress to his friend's house suddenly becomes a lot more perilous.
- Stop/Go is a slice of life documentary, which, through spending time with veteran worker Bernie, provides a first-hand look at working in traffic management amongst the great outdoors. Shot on location at a roading construction site in the beautiful MacKenzie Country, New Zealand's iconic landscape acts as both a boost and backdrop for Bernie's story.
- Molly is taken on holiday by her parents to Lanzarote. However Molly is really on her first mission as a secret agent, her mission: to free Yatkumchatka from whatever it is that is enslaving it. She cannot fail yet there are many obstacles in her way before she can succeed.
- A young woman grows a garden of love with her tears, which also make her see things that aren't really there. A robotic fish comes into her life and shows her a man who is growing a garden of hate and literally p*ssing his life away. She uses her love to try and reach him.

Although he seems to be enjoying his day, the fact that his photographs are all empty of other people appears to be weighing on him; something that plays a factor when sees a girl also alone and also taking photographs.
- A Jamaican man sits in his back yard in England watching test cricket live on tv. He laughs to himself when he sees a pigeon by the wicket being chased off by the bowler. However what he doesn't see is that the pigeon has been inspired by being bowled out and decides to get other birds together and have a game themselves in the man's back garden.
- A man and a woman sit having dinner. We witness this from the man's POV. However the man is a messy eater of the pasta and gets some on his eye. When he starts to clean it, it falls out and rolls along the floor sparking a chase around the restaurant, much to the woman's embarrassment.

However he meets Mishr and, despite the latter not drinking a reputable brand of vodka, their lives are transformed into ones of drinking and fun.

- The proprietor of fish and chip shop "Joe's Plaice" is married to Mary. For ages they have been trying for a baby. When they conceive in the middle of a thunderstorm, Joe suspects it is not really his. However the identify of the real Father is of some concern to Joe when he finds out.
- 'The Hedgehog Lady' rescues, brings back to health and releases hedgehogs from the wild in South West England. We see her home based operation and a small percentage of her large collection of hedgehog toys, sculptures and general hedgehog related items.
- A man who is obsessed with clocks wakes up, going through his perfectly synchronized morning routine before stepping out and getting hit by a bus. He wakes up instantly to find himself back in bed but a few seconds behind the previous version of himself, with the potential therefore to save himself or fail and continue this same loop.
- A young boy and his father live in a dull, lonely house with the shadow of mourning hanging over them both. The boy misses his mother but gets no comfort from his father's ascertains that she went peacefully. This tragedy is added to by the family dog which is looking increasingly unhealthy.

- Whenever you are in a relationship, there are signs to watch out for to let you know when things are basically starting to come to an end. This film, set entirely in the director's kitchen, shows us about 15 of them - some funny, some sad, mostly twisted.
- A black (and rather manly) nun bounces around on her bed while, next door, a white and feminine nun sleeps peacefully. After getting dressed, the two meet by chance in the ladies toilet where they find all the stalls to be engaged. Their physical competition to be next in the queue starts confined to the ladies but quickly spills out onto a train and an open field where cattle are grazing.
- In a small fishing village an established fishmonger, Davis, starts to have his supply bought from under him by new boy Alan Leech. This sets off a minor battle between the two for control of the fish supply. The battle results in an incident that sees one of the men re-evaluate his values in life.
- A young boy is lost in the frozen woods - it is only a matter of time before he freezes to death. A wolf approaches him, she is injured and also will die sooner rather than later. Her proposal to the boy is simple - she will let him kill her to use her meat for food and her pelt for warmth, as long as he in return stays to care for her cubs, which will also surely die without someone to look after them.
- At 23:29 a young bespectacled awaits the last train back home on a deserted station platform. His nerves become even more frayed when he is joined by a large group of hooligan types who have clearly been drinking a lot. At this point the platform becomes a jungle # populated by these violent dangerous animals.
- A young girl lives with her mother and her cat. One day the cat has several kittens. The mother gathers them up after a few days and she and the girl go for a walk with the kittens. All seems well but where are the mother and the girl going with the newly born litter?
- A woman heads down to Vera Lassoo's hair salon in the belief that a nice new haircut will give her a change and cheer her up. However getting to the salon she discovers that the staff are not as great as she would have hoped and that she may not end up with the haircut of her dreams.

When he realises he cannot ever really be with Pecks, he decides to take his own life without success. Hearing that Pecks himself has just died pushes him even further.
