- A decomposed body is uncovered where the foot was found. Dunne's horrified to learn it's Donna Burke. Dunne oversteps the mark while interviewing Tony Doyle. Callaghan berates Dunne for worrying about calling off Donna Burke's search. Dunne's aghast at Callaghan's attitude. Ash explains she didn't say anything about Dunne as she didn't want people thinking he'd give her an easy time. Paudge is miffed that Sharon never told him she'd applied to the SDU. Upset and drunk, he snogs Linda. Sharon learns that Jim was at a funeral/wake on the day that Robbie was killed. After being beaten up in prison, Jim dies.

- The Gardaí believe they've finally apprehended the murder suspect. All eyes are on Davey Webb who has been brought in for questioning. With CCTV footage and a murder weapon, Nikki won't be backing down until she has a confession. However, Claire has Davey trained well and he won't be admitting to anything anytime soon. A dishevelled and guilt ridden Paudge returns to Red Rock Garda Station. He's gotten wind that Davey's been arrested but is reluctant to believe that the young lad was the behind the murder. Davey's a good kid and should have never gotten messed up in this situation. The other guards are delighted to see Paudge, who has been sorely missed around the station. However, Sharon can't help but notice that there's something bothering him. She tries to confront Paudge but he refuses her help, instead opting to drown his sorrows at the Pier Pub.
- Rory sends a coded message to Laser that his place is bugged. Laser orders Rory to sort the bug and Sharon out, or he'll do it - and kill Rory too. Sharon and Rory kiss. Ash and Paudge find Aoife Burke trespassing in a condemned building. Ash lets her off and tells her she'll ask around about Donna. Bridget discovers that Keith is skimming money from the family business after she wrongly accuses Carmel Donovan for having outstanding arrears. Bridget's shocked to learn that Keith did a job for Laser and sacks him from the family business.
- An apathetic Paudge is struggling following Sharon's departure, but a grieving Aoife Burke re-engages him. Keith is tired of living in fear and confronts Alice Bruton.

He's picked up a young Polish woman Irena Bajorek on suspicion of prostitution. Determined to get a confession, Rory won't back down but Irena insists on her innocence, instead turning the tables on the detective with an accusation that she could quickly live to regret. Rory's not about to be made a fool of - is his dark side about to be unleashed? Paudge should be able to finally breath a sigh of relief, Beady Burke is gone from his life forever and he'll never have to worry about threats to his or his mother's life again. He's pushed things too far this time asking her to score for him. Conor can apologise all he likes, Rachel's heard it all before and isn't afraid to publicly dump him at The Neptune. As far as she's concerned only one person has ever truly loved her... Brian McGonigle. Tensions have been at an all time high between Sean and Adrijan. Adrijan's erratic behaviour and memory loss has been getting progressively worse but he just can't bring himself to find out his test results. Brain damage, a tumour, any number of things could be wrong and Adrijan's just too scared to find out. Sean is furious, ignoring the problem isn't going to make his condition any better. Back at the station Sharon and Rory join forces to knuckle down on a suspected dodgy off license worker. His version of events isn't quite adding up but Rory comes up with an ingenious plan to catch him out.
- Rachel Reid is still missing and things are taking a toll on her sister Niamh and Dad Liam. In a bid to broaden their hunt for the missing schoolgirl, Detective Sergeant Nikki Grogan and Sergeant Angela Tyrell help the Reids prepare a television appeal. Despite agreeing to do the television appeal, Liam is finding it particularly tough as he tries to put everything into words. Seeing Liam on the brink, Niamh calls in Patricia Hennessy as some welcome support for her dad. Patricia tries to gently talk some sense into Liam, encouraging him not to let Niamh do the appeal on her own. Paudge is feeling the pressure when he receives an unwelcome phone call. He tells an inquisitive Sharon that it's just a builder looking for payment and would be sorted once the rent starts flowing on the property, but is there more to the story than Paudge is letting on? Meanwhile, Sharon is still getting a nasty reception at work and when a dead rat is placed in her locker, Paudge tries his best to support her. As Liam and Niamh finally make the appeal, it's not just the public who see it - Rachel is watching it too. Will her family's emotional plea be a turning point for the troubled teen?

Left with no other option and the prospect of loosing his job Adrijan can only lie. In desperation Adrijan appeals to Joan to help him, perhaps she can persuade one of her married friends to say she was with him? Meanwhile, a local petrol station's been robbed and there's only one identifiable suspect - Davey Webb. Following his stabbing, Davey is supposed to be on the straight and narrow but with threats to his family there seems to be no escaping a life of crime. Claire steps in to defend Davey, she knows he's a good kid and confides in McKay that Davey doesn't deserve to be arrested. Nikki, on the other hand, has racked up enough evidence against Davey to have him charged. McKay saved Davey's life and now feels responsible for his future, could he really forgive himself if he put him behind bars? Could an old flame put a dampener on Sean and Niamh's new romance? Niamh's jealous streak comes to light when she discovers Sean's past relationship with Nikki. Sean only makes things worse when he explains that it was purely physical. Niamh suspects Nikki may still have feelings for Sean and her fears might be realised when Nikki fails to pass on an urgent message Niamh has for Sean.
- Sirens are blaring as the Gardai of Red Rock round up Beady's associates for questioning. McKay is determined to find out the truth behind the leak in the station but Beady's thugs won't say a word - they know better than to rat on their boss. McKay has relentlessly spent months trying to shut down Beady's drug trade and have him put behind bars, but Beady has evaded McKay at every corner. The Superintendent has hit breaking point and finally hauls Beady into the station. McKay wants to deal with Beady face to face and a cell with no witnesses is the ideal location. McKay won't let Beady out of his grasp until he tells him who the mole in the station is. Could Beady's taunting push McKay into doing something he might regret? Katie pays a visit to Patricia Hennessy's luxury apartment on the Quays. It's a world away from the Kiely's home - clean, modern and the perfect place to raise a baby. Katie's impressed but David might be speaking too soon when he suggests the three of them move in together. The apartment may be pristine but is the Kiely home where her heart is? Michael is devastated at the news that Siobhan is leaving for Thailand. He's only just gotten to know her, there's no way she can leave so soon. Michael tries to do everything in his power to stop her but the tickets are already booked. There's no other option - Michael has to run away with Siobhan!
- Michael's bags are packed and he's prepared to go on the run with Siobhan to Thailand. Siobhan, however, is having doubts and is worried about the consequences of what they are about to do. Michael is awaiting trail for the murder of Darren Kiely, if he leaves the country he can never come back. Can he really live with the harsh reality of a future without his family? Meanwhile Patricia finds Michael's goodbye note in Harbour Haulage and frantically calls Claire and David to help her. They need to get to the airport now or Patricia may never see her son again. Rory returns to The Neptune to speak with Katie. There's clearly a spark between the two however, David is not impressed to see Rory chatting up his pregnant ex girlfriend. David still isn't over Katie and makes it clear the baby is his. Rory needs to back off or there could be trouble ahead. Red Rock Garda Station receives a clean bill of health from the Bureau who confirm that there is no evidence of a mole. Paudge was the focus of much of the interviews but to his relief he is no longer under suspicion. Detective Inspector Kelly assures McKay that they can't see any of his guards having a criminal link on the Ridge. McKay can rest easy, he has a good team behind him and there is nothing to be worried about. Little does McKay know he was right to be over cautious, Paudge was the leak and he's just gotten away with it.
- Conor regrets his night spent with Rachel. He was incredibly upset by his friend Dooley's death and tells Rachel that they've made a mistake by taking things too fast. Rachel is furious but it's too late for Conor to apologise. As far as Rachel's concerned he's only a selfish junkie who has taken advantage of her and could have helped Dooley. Rachel's harsh words hit an already distraught Conor hard. With everything falling to pieces around him could Conor be pushed to seek solace in a syringe? CHIS (Covert Human Intelligence Sources) have turned down McKay's request to have Davey Webb as a confidential informant - he's too young, too scared and too eager to please. McKay has no other option but to charge Davey for the petrol station robbery, Nikki will be suspicious if he doesn't. McKay delivers the bad news to Davey who is already on edge with Laser Byrne breathing down his neck again. Davey's given McKay a list of names - if Laser finds out he's been working with McKay, it'll be more than a stab wound he'll get this time. Davey demands a deal with the Superintendent who agrees to bring him on as an informant off the books. Davey's information could be McKay's one chance to break the drug trade on the Ridge. CCTV footage is back from the taxi robbery incident and it appears that taxi driver Victor has been telling this truth. Rory is still suspicious of Victor's jumpy behaviour at the scene and it transpires that he's been living in the country illegally. Paudge tracks down Victor, who he finds also working in St. Helen's Hospital. Victor explains that his visa only expired a month ago and he's been living in his taxi. Will a sympathetic Paudge turn a blind eye?
- There's been a crack down on the Ridge - Beady Burke can't move without the Gardaí breathing down his neck and now McKay's attentions have turned to eliminating Laser Byrne. He's landed with the perfect opportunity to nab the thug when unofficial informant Davey Webb tips McKay off about a van full of fake cigarettes and booze belonging to Laser that he'll be driving. McKay insists Davey refuse, someone else needs to be driving if the guards are going to raid it. Laser doesn't take Davey's refusal well and forces him to be the driver. A panicked Davey rings McKay - there's no way he can go ahead with Laser's plan, if the guards catch him he'll be back behind bars in no time. McKay must change the plan and quick! He dispatches his officers to pick up Laser's van before Davey gets there but there's nothing illegal to be found. McKay may have cleared Davey this time but his unpredictable behaviour has Nikki and Rory doubting his leadership. Love is in the air as Tommy and Angela attempt to reignite the spark in their marriage. It's been a tough few months for the pair who have been rocked by Tommy's infidelity and their son's heroin addiction. However, all would seem to be back on track in their lives and Tommy suggests they have a date night. Angela is suspicious but for once Tommy has no ulterior motives other than treating his loving wife. This isn't a situation Sergeant Angela is used to as she anxiously tries on a new dress in the station's bathroom. A self-conscious Angela appears at the Pier Pub but Tommy is wowed by his wife's efforts. The two settle in for a few drinks but could their romantic plans be rudely interrupted when Adrijan and Sean spot their boss out of her Garda blues?
- Abandoned by his mother and under threat from Laser Byrne, Davey Webb seeks protection at McKay's apartment. A guilt ridden McKay can't refuse, he's all Davey has left and feels completely responsible for his safety. Claire insists McKay shows Davey the door, they are risking both their careers - she's his advising solicitor and he's a superintendent acting without authorisation. Davey is furious when McKay suggests he go back to Galway until everything dies down. He wouldn't be in this mess if McKay hadn't convinced him to be his informant. Laser's thugs have killed his dog, his sister's in hospital, his mother thinks he's a rat and his house has been burnt down - Laser clearly won't stop until he has Davey. McKay persuades Davey to get on the train but when he doesn't arrive in Galway, McKay's worst fears may have come true - has Laser finally gotten his hands on him? Vinnie is furious with Katie. There is no way can she start dating Detective Rory. The Gardaí and the Kiely's are like oil and water - they don't mix! Katie can't believe her father would be so upset with her. She's finally met a decent guy and Vinnie can't help but make a scene about it. Vinnie decides there's only one thing to do and barges into the Garda Station looking for Rory. Will Vinnie come to blows with his daughter's new beau? Patricia is devastated when she discovers that Michael's court date has been brought forward. He's due to be sentenced in less than a week, this could be the first Christmas the family will spend separated. Bridget Kiely isn't feeling confident, there's no chance a judge will pick their side over the Hennessys. Vinnie struggles putting pen to paper for the victim impact statement. It's vital they get it right - this is their last chance to get justice for Darren. Meanwhile Claire assures Michael that everything will turn out fine. They have a great barrister and she's confident the judge will be fair. Claire later confides in Patricia that if things don't go their way, Michael could face life behind bars. At the courts, a last minute change in judge sends Patricia into a frenzy. The new judge has been known to hand down severe sentences and she insists it would be in everyone's best interest to reschedule. The Kielys won't hear of it, they've waited long enough to find out the fate of the man who killed their son. Elsewhere, a blissfully unaware Paudge runs into Beady Burke. Paudge believed he'd finally shaken the gangster but it seems Beady isn't finished with him quite yet. He can't move without being followed by the Gardaí and needs Paudge to do more of his dirty work. Can Paudge really refuse when his mother's safety is put on the line?

Left with no other choice, Vincent decides to seek his own brand of justice and storms the Pier Pub with Bridget and Keith in tow. David calls Katie and she frantically runs to the pub to stop her father - will she be able to talk sense into Vinnie before he ends up behind bars himself? McKay has been tortured with guilt following the petrol bombing of the Webb house. Davey's little sister Chloe is still in hospital and will be scarred for life. He can't help but feel responsible, if he hadn't enlisted Davey as an unofficial informant none of this would have happened. Grainne can't believe her eyes when McKay arrives at the hospital with donations for her daughter. How dare he make an appearance? Toys can't make up for her life being destroyed. Beady insists Paudge find information on Jamie Donnolly's girlfriend. Jamie ran down Adrijan earlier in the year and has been in protective custody over his involvement with criminal McDaid. Paudge tells Beady there's a good chance the girlfriend is protected too but Beady won't listen. Paudge needs to stop messing around and get him the information or else!

A desperate Bridget is left with no other choice than to go crawling back to her ex Joe Fallon for a loan. With no evidence in sight a smug Aoife can walk free, to both Paudge and Beady's relief. McKay is determined to find out who took the drugs - Beady hardly strolled into the station and took them himself? An unsuspecting Adrijan becomes McKay's prime suspect. It's been several months since the pair met and a lot has changed in that time, including Katie's baby bump. Undeterred, the suave Rory asks Katie out on a date. The station is buzzing with the news of a new detective joining the ranks. Sean's excited to have more men on the team but is soon disappointed when the handsome Detective Garda Rory Walsh strolls in. Is Sean about to be knocked off his podium as Red Rock's resident hunk? Back at the Pier Pub Michael is set on his plan to run away with Siobhan. Patricia has had a change of heart and admits that she's happy for the pair. The Kiely's are crushed when they learn of the DPP's (Director of Public Prosecutions) decision to accept Michael Hennessy's plea for manslaughter. They've lost all hope of Michael getting the sentence he deserves for killing Darren. What kind of judge will take their side over that of the Hennessy's? Their only hope is to write a victim impact statement to make sure the judge understands how Darren's death has affected them. Preoccupied by the bad news Vinnie ignores calls from his boss. At St. Helen's hospital Katie Kiely has delivered a healthy baby boy. David has missed everything, arriving just after his son is born. He is none to pleased to find Rory at Katie's beside but any anger soon disappears when he lays eyes on his new bundle of joy. Everyone is overjoyed with the new arrival. All of the Hennessys and Kielys crowd into Katie's hospital room to view the baby but there is one noticeable absence. Where's Michael?

Adrijan's erratic behaviour has not gone unnoticed by Sean who confronts him in the hospital. Sean's furious - Adrijan's sudden outburst at Joanna could have led her to jump! The best friends come to blows in the hospital and they come crashing through a patient's room in a tussle. Sean subdues the agitated Adrijan and forces him to see the doctor. There's something up with Adrijan - has the hit and run left a lasting effect? A rattled McKay launches a second sting on Laser Byrne. He's determined this plan will be a success and guarantees Nikki that they'll catch him with counterfeit goods. Nikki has built a tight case against Davey, he's already on a suspended sentence and with the CCTV footage, there's enough to charge him. McKay, on the other hand, is having doubts about pushing forward. McKay knows Davey is the product of bad circumstance - he is trying to do well in college and is seemingly pressured into a criminal lifestyle. Davey deserves more of a future than a jail cell and McKay is determined to help him. McKay can have Davey released if he agrees to become an informant. McKay assures Davey he will be protected and there's the added chance of bringing down the thugs threatening his family. Adrijan realises he has angered the wrong woman when Joan Curry appears at the station to provide his alibi. Adrijan has hit a nerve with Joan, asking her to find a married friend to lie for him. Turns out Adrijan cares more about his career than their relationship and Joan isn't going to let him away with insulting her lightly. Joan hangs Adrijan out to dry with McKay, letting him know he was sleeping with her when the evidence needed to convict Aoife Burke went missing. Sharon is beaming after herself and Paudge receive certificates of commendation for their work in the arrest of Brian McGonagle. Paudge is unusually modest, working with Beady has tainted any feeling of pride he might have once had. Beady has avoided two raids and his niece has dodged a drugs charge, all with his help. Beady's good fortunes have not gone unnoticed by McKay and Nikki. There's clearly a leak in the station and their eyes are on one person in particular...
- A taxi robbery has gone horribly wrong and the guards are called out to the scene. A young, dark haired man, with track marks down his arms and no ID has been fatally injured. It dawns on Angela that her son Conor fits the description and she can't help but fear the worst when Conor doesn't answer her call and is a no show at work. Angela frantically runs to the accident, arriving just as the paramedics pull a blanket over the body. All stops still - Angela feels as though her world is about to crash down around her until she realises it isn't Conor's body but rather that of his childhood friend Daniel Dooley. A wave of relief hits Angela who returns to The Neptune to find Conor safe and sound. Conor is devastated when he hears of Dooley's death. He had only seen him hours before when Dooley begged him for money for a hit. Conor refused, he's only clean himself and didn't want to be associated with his junkie friend. Now he feels responsible - if only he had given Dooley the cash, he would still be alive. Conor is completely broken up about the situation and seeks comfort in Rachel at the Pipes. As far as she's concerned he always loved her and he was going to keep his promise to start a new life together after the trial. Nobody can seem to understand that she's grieving too. Having been banned from attending his funeral, Rachel goes to extreme lengths to say goodbye to the may who meant so much to her. At the station, Sean is heartbroken beyond belief when he learns that today is Adrijan's last day on duty. Tensions have been at an all time high between the partners for months, as Adrijan struggled to come to terms with the impact of his head injury. However, enough is enough for Adrijan who has packed his bags, ready to leave the station and the country. Sean must try to make one last ditch attempt to persuade Adrijan to stay or face losing him forever. Rory spies an opportunity to impress Superintendent Dunne, at Nikki's expense. He has been growing continually frustrated with the lack of progress in Brian's murder investigation. Only if they find the murder site can they finally shine a light on how he was killed. With Nikki conveniently at Brian's funeral, Rory takes this golden opportunity to follow his gut instincts and follow a lead that could bring him right to Brian's murderer.

However, the smile is quickly wiped from Rory's face when confronted by Nikki, who is furious that he went behind her back with the break to score points with Superintendent Dunne. Next time he gets a lead he reports to her first - this is her station and her investigation, not Dunne's!Angered by Rory's subordinance, Nikki decides to take matters into her own hands with her own suspicions. Rachel and Liam have been brought into the station for further questioning and Nikki remains unconvinced that Rachel stayed locked in her room the entire night of Brian's murder. While father and daughter continue to be questioned at the station, Nikki pays a visit to the Reid's determined to make a breakthrough of her own. Bridget's in for a nasty surprise when her boss, loan shark Joe Fallon, makes an early return from his holidays. She can't bear to be under his control any longer and decides enough is enough, she's going to clear her debts by any means possible. Bridget's scraped together every last penny she has, even pawning one of her most precious items to get the money. It breaks Vinnie's heart to see his wife resort to such drastic measures but knows it's their only way to secure freedom from Fallon. They are determined to get the money, pay Fallon off and he will be out of their lives forever. Angela is left fuming when Conor is dragged back into the station for questioning without her being informed. Nikki insists they merely need to rule him out. He had an altercation with Brian in the McGonigle house the night he died, they just need to confirm his further whereabouts following that incident. Unfortunately Conor can't help but draw a complete blank on the events of that night after going on a bender and drinking himself into a state of oblivion.

It seems this arrangement has been less about the money and more about Joe's twisted desire to have Bridget for himself. Determined to keep his hold on her, the loan shark proposes a new business venture for the pair. However, Bridget has been desperately trying to escape Joe's clutches for weeks and abruptly turns down Joe's offer. This unleashes a rage in Joe that Bridget has never before seen, which leads to devastating consequences. Much to Angela's relief, Tommy is finally home following his near fatal heart attack. However, while Rory's failed to impress Nikki, Dunne is more than pleased with the lengths Rory has been going to in order to crack the case...
- Rory's gun is taken from him and he's told to take time off. Rory tries to speak to Sharon about her allegation, but she remains resolute. Jim makes the ultimate sacrifice to save Rory by convincing the guards he was Laser's mole, not Rory. Sharon fears she's lost Rory. Bridget badgers Keith to pursue drug dealing, so to get her off his back, Keith pretends to destroy the drugs. Patricia learns her apartments are worthless and is affronted when she's not invited to a Drugs Awareness Ball.

With Laser dead, Patricia's forced by David to come clean to Johno about Michael. Johno, unimpressed, insists she reports it. Sharon and Rory sleep together. He convinces her to lie to GSOC. Sharon remembers what Laser said to her: "Ask him" (Rory?!). Ash discovers that Bridget harassed Carmel for money.
- The gun Rory took from Laser's van isn't Jim's. He returns to where he killed Robbie to look for it, but Ash and Paudge find it before he does. Bridget's rattled when Ash confronts her over claiming benefits while moneylending. Vincent and Bridget clash over what Keith should do with Laser's stolen drugs. Sharon learns that the man who stabbed Rory during his "shining light" case was an associate of Laser.
- Rory manages to wipe Jim's gun clean of Jim's fingerprints. Sharon confronts Rory over Laser. He maintains he killed Laser to save Sharon and to get Laser back for the "shining light" case. Sharon goes to Dunne and makes a complaint against Rory for "working with Laser Byrne." Vincent despairs when Keith reckons that all he needs to do is sell Laser's drugs fast. Keith proves to Eugene that he's not a rat by assaulting Johno.
- Paudge discovers the extent of Aoife's past with Tony Doyle. Keith pays Alice less than they had agreed.
- A horrified Dunne learns that the man he is protecting is not who he thought he was. Alice reveals Keith's dealings to the Kielys. Conor wants a chat with Angela at the station.
- Dunne sweats when Donna's phone leads Angela to the murder site. Ash does her best to prove herself having lost Angela's trust. Keith tries to get a grip on his situation.
- Keith gets Vinnie (Paul Roe )help to dispose of Eugene's body. Realising he's alive they take Eugene home forcing Bridget (Denise McCormick) to distract the benefits officer (Fiana Toibin) at door. Eugene escapes but is hit by a lorry.
- As the Kielys cover up any involvement in Eugene's supposed accident, Johno and Rory are hot on Keith's heels. Patricia breaks Johno's heart and gets closer to Callaghan.
