- Two sisters (Sangeeta & Kaveeta) live with their uncle in a small village which is suddenly destroyed by heavy rainfall then a devastating flood. They manage to get to safety with most of the villagers but their uncle dies of pneumonia. The elder sister Sangeeta gets offered a high paid job and a flat but then realises that the job involves some escorting for rich company clients. She escapes after nearly being raped but falls into the sea where she is finally saved by (Ghulaam Mohudin), but loses touch with her sister who is saved by a poet (Nadeem), when she goes out looking for her sister. Both sisters lose touch but marry their saviours and start living contrasting life styles as one leads a rich life and the other a poor one. The story revolves around how they find each other and how their lives pan out.
