This was one of several British films of the early 60s made by the ailing British Lion company (or else a satellite production company connected with it) to be denied a release in the UK until well over a year after it had been completed. Although made in early 1963, it was not released until May 1965 when it went out on a double bill with the similarly delayed Ring of Spies.
Hazel Coppen's debut.
