At the beginning, the credits have Tuco (Eli Wallach) listed as "The Ugly" and Sentenza, a.k.a. Colonel Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef) listed as "The Bad". The end credits have these two reversed; "The Bad" as Tuco and "The Ugly" as Sentenza.
