Sex & Nudity

  • None. This film simply follows Shakespeare's play exactly.
  • Suggested rating: G or very light PG for mild violence

Violence & Gore

  • Caesar is stabbed, and there is a battle at the end. Very little shown. It is what you would expect in a Shakespeare play, and this film is not graphic or gory in any way.

Profanity

  • None whatsoever. The dialogue follows Shakespeare's play verbatim.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Very mild wine drinking, consistent with the play itself

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Shakespearean violence, but it is all part of the story. Nothing overly graphic or disturbing. While not very high quality, it is entirely suitable for classrooms and family viewing.
