As usual, several other Smurfs attempt to dissuade Brainy from doing this] ... My dear fellow Smurfs! While I appreciate your concern, please rest assured that I know exactly what I'm smurfing here. Painter Smurf : [speaking with his barely-comprehensible French accent] Oui! And the time before that, you caused every Smurf in the Village to smurf in a different language -- so that no Smurf could make heads or smurfs from what any other Smurf was smurfing!
Grouchy Smurf : I hate... what Painter just said.
Vanity Smurf : And the time before *that*, you caused every other Smurf in the Village to look and sound exactly like *me*! Oh, I never felt so smurfily plain, homely, even -- dare I say it -- ordinary!
Handy Smurf : And the time before THAT, you made all my inventions smurf to life and take over the Village!
