Absurd and disconcerting retelling based on Alexandre Dumas's novel but with some funny and entertaining moments

Silly spoof about Three Musketeers and being starred by all-Spanish-star cast but really wasted . This ironic film ¨Crazy history of the three Musketeers¨ by Mariano Ozores is an "alternate " vision of Musketeers history and it displays a good cast , most of them playing known roles such as Antonio Ozores as Richelieu, Juanjo Menéndez as Louis XIII , Queen Anna played by Paloma Hurtado , Nadiuska as Milady de Winter , Adriana Ozores as Constanza , among others. As the three musketeers must help the Queen of France recover a garter belt lost in a love affair between Duke Buckingham and the Queen before Cardinal Richelieu discredits the Queen at a party where she will have to wear the famous piece of lingerie.

This ridiculous tale there are anachronisms , including appearances of motorcycles and cars , goofs , abstract incidents , silly dueling , brawls , musical numbers , songs and amusement . The parody is continuous , hilarious , surrealist , absurd and sometimes gross-out , but in some moments here and there is also bold and risible . The sour comments and the past-present mixture loosely based on historic facts are extended in similar style to Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975). It's almost the same kind of picture , but with Spanish roles and typical Spaniard idiocracy . The brave Musketeers are ironically portrayed by the likable trio Martes y Trece who take a contemporary approach as ambitious adventurers who attempt to save Queen's honor. This likable trio is formed by Fernando Conde who plays various roles as Porthos / Alejandro Dumas / Gaston /Madre Aramis , Millán Salcedo who performs Athos / Dupont / Dominique / Padre de Aramis and Josema Yuste playing Aramis / Caballero español / Marcel / Colette. This picture contains acid political remarks with inclusion some embarrassing re-enacting of deeds about the known Alexandre Dumas novel "Les trois mousquetaires" . Adding several observations to political aspects of Spain of the eighties . The flick belongs to a trio of films mostly written by Juan José Alonso Millán and produced by Jose Frade , in which there are deep as well as acid satires to historic events mingled with actual political events , such as : ¨Juana la Loca... De Vez En Cuando¨ (1983) by Jose Ramon Larraz with Beatriz Elorrieta , Lola Flores , Jaime Morey , José Luis López Vazquez , Guillermo Montesinos and ¨El Cid Cabreador¨ by Angelino Fons with Angel Cristo , Carmen Maura , Manolo Gómez Bur , Paquita Rico , Pepe Da Rosa , Adriana Vega and the most successful ¨Cristobal Colón , de oficio descubridor¨ by Mariano Ozores with Andrés Pajares , Fiorella Faltollano , Antonio Ozores , José Carabias . In similar style was made this ¨La Loca Historia de Los Tres Mosqueteros¨ (1983) by Mariano Ozores with Martes Y Trece , Antonio Ozores , Juanjo Menézdez and Paloma Hurtado .

The motion picture wa produced with budget enough , in fact is was shot in some palaces and in Lastres , Asturias , wheresome spectacular motorcycle races took place . It was regularly directed by Mariano Ozores , but it was a flop at Spanish box office . Being realized in his usual style with plenty of comical sketches , amusement , humor , and entertainment . Mariano's family origin is into show business , being son of Mariano Ozores Sr and brother of José Luis Ozores and Antonio Ozores . Furthermore , uncle of Adriana Ozores and Emma Ozores . He has a prolific career , being recently payed tribute , receiving a Goya Award for his long cinematic path and many actors and technicians worked and ate thanks to the huge success of his films . Ozores is a writer and director , especially in comedy genre such as : Disparate Nacional , Tahiti's Girl , Brujas Magicas , Los Presuntos , Cuatro Mujeres Y Un Lío , Tío ¿De Verdad Vienen De París? , Alcalde Por Elección , Ellas Los Prefieren... Locas , El Apolítico , Jenaro El De Los 14 , Manolo La Nuit , El Abuelo Tiene plan , La Llamaban La Madrina , La Graduada , Venta Por Pisos and many others . Being his ordinary actors , the followings : Alfredo Landa , Lina Morgan , Paco Martínez Soria , Antonio Ozores , Jose Luis Ozores , Juanito Navarro and , of course , Fernando Esteso and Andrés Pajares .
