Spoilers

The trivia item below may give away important plot points.

When Mickey Rooney's character, Mike Halligan, dies and goes to heaven, he has a conversation with an elderly man and elderly woman waiting in a line to go through the pearly gates. At one point Mike says, "I'm not that old," to which the woman replies, "Then, you should've taken better care of yourself." Then, a young man, also in line, dressed in athletic attire says, "Take care of yourself? I was jogging five miles a day. What good did it do me?" This is a clear reference to the famous jogger, Jim Fixx, who earlier that year passed away from a massive heart attack while jogging, in spite of him acquiring a healthy lifestyle.
