Rochel and director Schollevaar have a secret meeting so he can evaluate some stored artwork. But they end up stuck together while warden Miechels searches the entire island.
Schollevaar has invented a new points system to evaluate the prison staff. This leads to great competitiveness between Miechels & Ten Bruggencate. Meanwhile Uckels is afraid his girlfriend has been unfaithful while on holiday.
Miechels is not pleased with Schollevaar's new visiting room, where prisoners can have intercourse with guests. Rochel manages to book Peer's young niece and her singing group for Ten Bruggencate's music appreciation group.
Miechels and Ten Bruggecate have a falling out on account of the annual children's play. The B-wing gets a temporary addition in the form of a hardened criminal from the States.
When Rochel complaints about Johan's cookery the director decides to give him one last chance at a grand diner with a glass of wine. But Rochel manages to get his hands on the case of wine first.
The moment Rochel is reunited with his old pal Mario de Mol several of the prisoner's possessions begin to disappear. But it is Uckels who gets blamed.
When Hoebe is replaced by his young intern, Maarten Bijl, Rochel sees him as a rival for the director's affections and becomes jealous. She decides the two of them should duel it out, and Maarten chooses to play a game of checkers.
Krukas refuses to meet with his handicapped but more successful brother Charles. The Director plans to publish a booklet of letters written by the prisoners.
The prison has been equipped with surveillance cameras. This means warden Holst has become redundant. When the other guards decide to stick up for him and strike, only Schollevaar & Hoenstra are left to take care of the prisoners.
