  • The sex scene of Otis and Rourke at the end of the film was too explicit for the MPAA to provide a R-rating, it would have got a X-rating, which means that the film couldn't have been screened in normal cinemas. So the director Zalman King reluctantly decided to make it appear a bit more harmless to get the more promising R-rating.There've been a lot of rumors about the sex scene at that time. It's said that it really came to sexual actions between Otis and Rourke, who got closer during the shooting. They both denied that. An uncensored version of the film was later released on VHS which contained the complete sex scene. Both versions have been released on a double-sided DVD by MGM. Edit
