This show was a comedy???
I remember watching this show Saturday afternoons when I was like 8. I just thought of it today and in retrospect the show makes no sense to me what so ever. The only inventions I remember were an inefficient urine powered battery and a plastic cover that fit over pay phones to protect a person from germs, which now leads me to believe it was a comedy, but I am sure the inventions were real, just pointless. It seems like the inventions were real but they were always so outrageous that it did become quite comical. I do remember that it was a very low budget affair, usually airing after an infomercial and before episodes of Small Wonder. It kind of had an infomercial feel to it but none of the products were actually sold through the show. I remember that they also featured successful inventors as guest stars and recall that once the creator of the super-soaker was interviewed. Overall, the show was entertaining in some way and felt right with the time slot, although it does not seem like many episodes were aired as I often saw the same five or so.
