- A salesman threatens to cut off Jasmine's hand after she gives an apple to a child. Luckily, she is saved by Aladdin.
- Abu is abused multiple times. First, gets thrown viciously into a jar by a guard. Second, gets kicked by Jafar (as a beggar) when trying to rescue Aladdin from the Cave of Wonders. Third, as an elephant, gets tied up in a net by the guards. Fourth, gets turned into a toy by Jafar during the final battle. In each case, he turns out fine in the end.
- A teen boy is threatened by guards brandishing swords a number of times.
- Guards tie up a teen boy then hit him over the head with a small club which knocks him out. He is then thrown off a cliff into the ocean attached to a ball and chain.
- A teen boy uses a sword in combat another man as a snake and stabs him. Some blood is shown, but it's extremely brief.

- In original 1992 versions, the opening song contains a line that discusses having your ear cut off if people don't like your face. This spawned criticism from the American Arab anti-discrimination committee for cultural insensitivity, so the 1993 version, 2004 special edition and later releases replaced this line with one that talks about the intense heat.
- A large barrel-shaped tower section rolls toward Aladdin and Abu. They escape harm by going to where a small opening hits the ground.

- Jasmine kisses Jafar to distract him from Aladdin stealing the genie lamp back after Jafar stole it from him. Jasmine and Jafar have an age gap. Jasmine is a teen while Jafar appears to be 40.
Violence & Gore
- Jafar turns into a huge snake and begins squeezing Aladdin.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Jafer turns into a large venomous snake.
- Jafar uses his last wish to turn into a red and menacing-looking Genie.
- Jasmine is trapped inside a giant hourglass, with sand pouring down on her. As the sand level rises, it becomes apparent that she can't breathe. However, Aladdin rescues her before she drowns.
