Sex & Nudity

  • Brief male and female full-frontal nudity of indigenous South Americans. The camera pans across a line of girls/women who are nude from the waist down (their vulvas are visible; however, this is a portrayal of cultural nudity--it is not focused on and not very explicit). We also see a brief shot of topless females.
  • Some prostitutes are shown (in dressing gown) in front of a whorehouse. A striptease dancer is visible behind them.

Violence & Gore

  • A deceased man is respectfully cremated on an open outdoor pyre. His burning corpse is seen, including some close-up views.
  • We see chickens being mishandled in a slaughterhouse.

Profanity

  • None, especially because this film does not have any dialogue or narration at all.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • An Asian man is seen smoking a cigarette.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A deceased man is respectfully cremated on an open outdoor pyre. His burning corpse is seen, including some close-up views.
  • The composition of the film mixing images with music can make the movie very emotional or even terrifying in some points
  • We see a row of human skulls in a temple.
