I wasn't the only one in the New Zealand theatre when this rolled round the country on the festival circuit, but it was hardly a packed house either. Which was a shame, as there were tonnes of great truisms, anecdotes, wry smiles, and honest to goodness country wisdom comes through throughout its short duration. I remember feeling uplifted, happy at the human condition with all its tribulations, not so alone in my cynicism, and eager to visit Vermont. So much so it made me want to watch it again, but can't find it available to stream for the life of me.
Also recommend John O'Brien's excellent 'Man with a Plan'.
