- Harry and Mary build a snowman and Harry places the carrot and black rocks on its bottom half to look like a penis and testicles.
- Lloyd approaches a pornographic magazine dispenser, you're able to briefly see what it is, and has the name slut written on it.
- Harry says to a woman "Nice set of hooters you got there" referring to Snowy Owls but the woman takes it offensively and thinks he's referring to her breasts.
- Lloyd is trying to talk to a woman at a party and has Harry talk to her for him and put in a good word about him. He tells Harry to tell her he has a "rapist wit", but he means to say "rapier wit" and that's what's funny.
- Lloyd pees in several beer bottles in their van (nothing shown, we just hear urination noise).
- In one of Lloyd's daydreams/fantasies, he and a woman hug, then he lifts her skirt to briefly reveal her bare buttocks. Later, she removes her dress and the camera pans from bare shoulders to chest area, showing that her breasts are covered by headlights before the scene cuts.
- A bus of bikini clad women arrives to Harry and Lloyd, saying they're looking for two 'oil boys to grease them up before tours'. They decline. Cleavage is visible on all of them shortly, and only one or two are fully seen in bikinis.
- Harry and Lloyd are in a hot tub talking about a past relationship. In the unrated edition, a man and woman are heard having sex, as Lloyd puts his ear to the wall and makes a crude comment.
- A man uses the bathroom in a stall, when another man comes in & shoves him roughly. It is loosely implied that he is going to rape and kill him, but he is knocked out. In the unrated version, we see him pull down his pants (he has underwear that reveals some pubic hair),
- Harry sits down on the side of the road with his butt crack visible for a few seconds.
- Some sexual references and innuendos, with the crudest (in the theatrical version) being a reference to the "shaggin wagon" and a man saying he has a romantic feeling for someone where "he'd do anything to bone her".

- Harry drinks a cup of coffee which Lloyd spiked with laxatives, causing him to violently defecate into a toilet at Mary's house.
- Lloyd seems to have his throat slit in one scene, but it turns out to be a prank using ketchup as blood.
- Two people cut a birds head off (played offscreen). The main characters trick a blind boy into paying them $100 for the dead headless bird.
- A man is hit numerous of times in the groin and bitten there as well.
- There is one bloody violent scene: During a dream sequence, Lloyd tears a heart out of a living Chinese man's chest, and puts it into a paper bag (blood). Though it's meant to be comic, it is still rough and may scare children and/or disgust some older viewers.
- A man punches another man through a glass phone booth (Comical but quite brutal)
- Harry's pant leg catches on fire (comedic).
- Lloyd kills an owl with a cork from a wine bottle (comedic, but may be disturbing).
- Harry gets his tongue stuck to a frozen pole and later gets yanked off the pole.

- A man says "Nice Hooters" to a woman (a reference to a slang)
- In one of the deleted scenes, there are 4 uses of shit (One used as Bullshit) and 1 use each of "Crap" and "Fuck".
- 10 uses of "Hell", 6 uses of "Damn" (One of them is "Goddamn"), 5 uses of "Ass" (two of them is "Asshole"), 4 uses of "Shit" (one of them is "Bullshit"), 2 uses of "Son of a Bitch", "Pisses" and "Bastard", and one use of "Pussies", alongside misuses of God and Jesus' names are used as well, with 1 "God sake", 1 "Jesus Christ", 2 "My God" and 1 "God".

- Occasional scenes of cigarette and cigar smoking.
- Some drinking by peripheral characters in a bar.
- Joe takes pills in a few scenes.
- A cop pulls Harry and Lloyd over and notices several beer bottles, in which Lloyd peed in. The cop then drinks one of the bottles.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Pretty goofy/mild-mannered movie.
- A fairly violent fantasy scene, even though it's intended to be comical.
- A man is nearly raped, but is saved through dumb luck.
- A parakeet is killed, we hear it squawking for a second or two in the unrated version.
- Nothing is meant to be intense exactly, although the unrated hot tub scene is off-putting.

- Nicholas Andre shoots Harry twice with his pistol--we see two bloody holes in his chest and he falls back into the bed. It is later revealed Harry was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A man eats a hamburger containing very hot peppers, he dies after Harry accidentally gives him rat poisoning. (Played for laughs, but might be disturbing to some viewers)
