“Run, Forrest, Run!”
If you’ve always wanted to feel like Tom Hanks in the 1994 Academy Award-winning film Forrest Gump, now’s your chance. On January 24, Nike released a special edition of their iconic Cortez sneaker inspired by the film (Hanks is famously seen wearing these shoes during his three-year run), and while you won’t have to travel 15,000 miles to get a pair, you’ll want to act fast.

The polarizing albeit somehow industry favorite "Emilia Pérez" has nabbed 13 Oscar nominations, setting the record for most nominations by an international film. The Spanish-language French musical crime film, written and directed by Jacques Audiard, is also tied with "Gone With the Wind," "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," "Forrest Gump," and "Oppenheimer" for the second-most Oscars nominations, ever. /Film's Jeremy Mathai called the film "a swing and a miss," and with a 32% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, he's certainly not alone in thinking the movie was a huge whiff.
Suppose you are someone who loved the film. In that case, I'm not here to tell anyone how to feel about a piece of art. But considering the legitimate criticisms that have been lobbied against the film regarding both its trans representation and its depiction of Mexican culture, it's wildly disappointing to realize just how many Academy...

For a race that seemed as unpredictable as any in recent history, the 2025 Oscar nominations came and went without many huge surprises. All the expected acting contenders — including frontrunners like Demi Moore, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, Zoe Saldaña, and Kieran Culkin — were bestowed with nominations on Thursday, as were several films long predicted to score Best Picture recognition. But while the 97th Oscars were perhaps shorter than usual on snubs and surprises, the list of nominees did clarify which films Academy voters truly loved and what might ultimately win Best Picture in March. Ahead are the key takeaways from the 2025 Oscar nominations.
Emilia Pérez is the front-runner to beat
With 13 Oscar nominations on Thursday, including Best Picture, Best International Feature, Best Director, and acting nominations for Karla Sofia Gascón and Zoe Saldaña, Emilia Pérez is not just the year’s top Oscar contender but one of the most decorated nominees in history.

As we wrap an epic day of coverage of the Oscar nominations, here are some final observations:
—It’s ironic that there will be no Best Song performances at this year’s 97th Academy Awards, because music-driven movies have rarely, if ever, made such an impact. This is the first time that three music-oriented/musical films have been nominated for Best Picture in the same year: Emilia Pérez (with its chart-topping 13 nominations), Wicked (with its 10), and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown (with eight). The last times that even two musicals faced off for Oscar’s biggest prize was in 1964 with My Fair Lady and Mary Poppins and in 1968 with winner Oliver! and Funny Girl.
—Emilia Pérez snared more noms than any foreign language film ever with 13, to lead all comers Thursday. It joins an impressive list of other 13-time Oscar nominees that includes The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,...

The nominees for the 97th Academy Awards were announced today.
And as usual, the list contained some major surprises.
Some big names were snubbed, while other major talents received their very first nominations.
But the biggest shocker of all might have been the absolute dominance of Emilia Perez.

The French-produced Netflix film scored a whopping 13 nominations, making it tied for the second-most nods of all time.
(It’s a several-way tie that includes such cinematic heavy-hitters as Gone With the Wind, Forrest Gump, and Oppenheimer.)
The film also received more noms than any other 2024 film by a considerable margin.

In case anyone needed a reminder that “Film Twitter” and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are not populated by the same people, Emilia Pérez, the polarizing French-directed, Spanish-language musical about a trans Mexican gangster, landed a field-leading 13 Oscar nominations on Thursday morning. That tally — encompassing noms for best picture, director, actress, supporting actress, adapted screenplay, international feature, cinematography, film editing, makeup/hairstyling, original score, sound and two for original song — smashed the record for a non-English-language film (previously held by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Roma, which had 10 each) and is just one shy of the all-time record for any film (All About Eve, Titanic and La La Land each landed 14).
Is Jacques Audiard’s Netflix film unbeatable? Of course not. Plenty of people have issues with the film, including many members of the Mexican and trans communities, who find it offensive, and critics and general audiences,...

Ever since Oscar season became a year-round affair catering both to industry professionals and movie buffs all over the world, there has been a tendency to pencil in certain contenders sight-unseen based on their previous awards success or showbiz prominence. If Steven Spielberg has a new film on the way, it's immediately a prohibitive favorite for at least a nomination. Meryl Streep in a drama about something timely or socially important? That's one Best Actress nod most likely spoken for.
It's always a mistake to think this way. This is something I learned in 2007, when, as a participant in an Oscar prognosticating poll, I predicted Academy Award nominations across the board for "Charlie Wilson's War." How could I not? A drama about the United States' involvement in Afghanistan directed by Mike Nichols (winner for "The Graduate") and starring Tom Hanks (winner for "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump"), Julia Roberts (winner for...

Even some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have some regrets about roles that they turned down over the years.
Stars have to make a tough choice every time a job offer comes in. They need to field a list of potential projects and decide which one seems the most promising and interesting to them. In the process, they might end up missing out on a chance to star in a project that becomes a serious blockbuster.
We previously rounded up 12 actors who nearly passed on what would become their most iconic roles. However, there are even more actors who did say “no thanks” to appearing in solid-gold hits.
For instance, someone turned down a role and wound up losing a $250 million payday! A pop icon had some regrets about passing on a chance to play Catwoman. One actress was even offered a chance to play Neo, a male role, in The Matrix!

Tom Hanks and Robin Wright will be reuniting on Netflix soon, after their recent box office disaster. The two worked together to create the world-renowned Forrest Gump in 1994. The movie became an instant success, grossing $678 million dollars, while earning critical acclaim along the way. It won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. Despite the praise, Hanks and Wright rarely reunited after their breakout success of a movie.
While Hanks was known before Forrest Gump, he continued to explode in Hollywood after. In the following years alone, he starred in Toy Story (1995), Saving Private Ryan (1998), The Green Mile (1999), Cast Away (2000), and numerous other renowned productions. Wright also went on to enjoy a successful career, though she was never quite as prominent as her co-star. She took essential roles in Unbreakable (2000), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Wonder Woman (2017), and she claimed a significant role in House of Cards...

From the extraordinary artistry of Who Framed Roger Rabbit to the dead-eyed children of The Polar Express, there is perhaps no greater champion for paradigm-shifting visual effects than Robert Zemeckis. With Here, Zemeckis pushes the envelope again, telling the non-linear story of different generations inhabiting the same house over hundreds of years, all from the same static view of its living room. But although the unconvincing de-ageing of Tom Hanks and Robin Wright back to their Forrest Gump days has grabbed headlines, it’s the least of the film’s problems.
Here certainly begins boldly, with a herd of dinosaurs thundering past the camera through bubbling, primordial mud, only to be obliterated by that pesky asteroid. Focusing on that same patch of land, Zemeckis then rattles through a few million years, leaping forward to its inhabitance by Native Americans, a quick cameo by Benjamin Franklin, and the construction of a small town.

The Best Picture race at the 2025 Oscars is coming into focus. The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, were created by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1929, and celebrate the artistic achievement of each year's films in a variety of categories including acting, directing, editing, costume design, sound design, and more. The Oscar that is perhaps the most prestigious is the Best Picture award, which celebrates what Academy voters have deemed to be the best film of the year.
Over the years, there have been a wide variety of Best Picture winners, so far running from 1927's Wings, a silent film starring Clara Bow, through 2023's Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan's biopic-thriller of J. Robert Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy. Some winners are minted classics such as 1942's Casablanca, 1964's The Sound of Music, 1971's The Godfather, and 1992's Schindler's List. Here’s the secret behind Kevin Hart’s massive Hollywood paycheck: it’s not about what you see on screen but about what happens before the cameras roll. While most stars sign up for big upfront paydays, Hart’s got a different playbook. His genius move? The back-end deal.
Take Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), a film that made over $800M globally. Kevin didn’t grab a fat paycheck up front. Instead, he bet on the movie’s success, taking less money in exchange for a cut of the profits. And guess what? That gamble paid off big time. Hart told James Corden, “If I had to make a rough guess… see, I’m a ‘back end player,’ so it’s not about what you take upfront. I don’t want upfront money for the movie, so I took less money and...

The extensive Paramount+ movie library continues to expand with a selection of high-quality cinematic classics from the iconic studio as well as some of its more recent hit movies to kick off the new year. A lot of attention these days is paid to Paramount+'s incredible success on the television side of things, thanks largely to Taylor Sheridan's wide collection of shows, including Landman, Lioness, and the recently wrapped Yellowstone. However, January 2025 once again proves there is a terrific selection of movies on the platform to watch.

In a single year, countless movies become financial successes, while others prove themselves to be flops, yet there are a few notable films in 2024 that had the potential to be hits, yet lost out at the box office. When it comes to calculating a movie's success, there are a few elements that need to be acknowledged. The most important are critical reviews and box office earnings. The former reveals whether audiences actually enjoyed the movie, while the latter shows how many people saw the film. Though both elements are important, sometimes one is more significant than the other.
The following movies are those that should have been successful, or even found success among critics in 2024, yet ended up being box office bombs. Robert Zemeckis released an R-rated comedy starring Kurt Russell called Used Cars which is surprisingly very dark. Zemeckis is best known for his incredibly popular and classic films such as Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and Cast Away. Zemeckis made his feature film debut with 1978's historical comedy I Wanna Hold Your Hand, which follows two fans who try to sneak into the Beatles' hotel in New York City before their American debut on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Approaching 30 years since Quentin Tarantino's first masterpiece lost at the 1995 Oscars, it feels like an even worse decision now than ever before. Upon being released in 1994, Pulp Fiction was only Tarantino's second film ever, coming out just two years after Reservoir Dogs, his electric directorial debut. Despite being well received, Pulp Fiction was the first true masterpiece made by Tarantino, and still remains one of the best in his entire filmography.

A lot goes into creating a truly memorable sitcom. In a time where overlit studio soundstages play host to a frankly unbelievable amount of generic sitcoms, the magic of the genre's golden years seems to have been truly lost. Though they have been around for decades, the '90s seemed to be a real pinnacle for the format, with "Friends," "Seinfeld," and "Frasier" all representing some of the finest sitcoms ever produced. While the characters and the writing are inarguably integral to these shows enduring appeal, there's also the aesthetics to consider. All three of these series had a distinct look that was the combination of how sets were lit back then and the design of those sets themselves.

Tom Hanks’ Divisive Christmas Adventure Finds Renewed Streaming Success In Time For 20th Anniversary
Tom Hanks' divisive Christmas adventure film finds renewed streaming success just in time for its 20th anniversary. Though his most frequent collaborator is Steven Spielberg, Hanks is also well known for his various collaborations with director Robert Zemeckis, starting with 1994's Forrest Gump, for which he won his second Academy Award for Best Actor. In 2000, Hanks reunited with Zemeckis for Cast Away and earned another Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
Some of Hanks' latest movies have also been directed by Zemeckis, including 2022's live-action Pinnochio, in which he played Geppetto, and 2024's Here, in which the actor was digitally de-aged. In addition to his onscreen roles that have made him one of the most recognizable movie stars, Hanks has also lent his voice to a few animated characters throughout his career, most famously Woody in the Toy Story movies. Although cinema is an art form, first and foremost, it is also a business that requires financial support to be sustained. A healthy box office is necessary for the medium to remain a cornerstone of popular culture, as studios will only be willing to invest in future projects if it is proven that there is an audience that is willing to go out and see them. 2024 was a year in which there were tremendous box office highs, but the delays due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes did lead to some crushing lows.
Box office performances are a compelling way to examine where the industry is headed, but it is not necessarily an indication of quality. How often have we all heard audiences leave the theater after watching a new cinematic adaptation of a novel, grumbling to themselves that the book was better? Often, readers get very attached to a specific novel, and any attempts to adapt it for the big screen are doomed to failure. After all, books are able to delve into a narrative with so much more depth, and films, limited by their runtime, have to consolidate or rearrange story elements to make them fit properly.
But every once in a while, the reverse happens. A film is actually able to improve on what was put forth on paper. Sometimes this is because a story is particularly well-suited for a more visual medium, and sometimes it just finds itself in the hands of an unusually talented director. But these projects are worth celebrating because when a filmmaker adapts a book for the big screen,...

Ben Smallbone’s “Homestead” takes place in a world where foreigners detonate a nuclear bomb off the coast of Los Angeles, the protagonists are saved because they own a Tesla, Bitcoin is the only valuable currency, and the truth can only be told on Right Wing radio. For some people that’s a selling point. For many others, it’s a list of red flags.
It’s easy to think of films like “Homestead” as if they live on the fringe of mainstream media, but though this particular film isn’t a major studio release, they’re hardly uncommon. Hit movies like “Black Hawk Down” and “300” have shamelessly vilified non-white antagonists, portraying them as fodder for heroic, mostly white hunks to mow down with impunity, sometimes in dramatic slow-motion. “Forrest Gump” is the story of a man who does everything he’s told to do, like joining the Army...

Recently, while talking about the Netflix film titled Let Go, I found myself very conflicted about the use of cancer as a plot point in films and TV shows. Unless you and everyone around you is unnaturally healthy, I’m sure you must have some idea of how cruel the disease is. And regardless of how closely you’ve witnessed its effects, the on-screen portrayal of cancer usually feels manipulative or gimmicky. I think films like 50/50, Ikiru, Our Friend, The Fountain, and, of course, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl have dealt with it in a heartfelt and sensitive fashion. But then there are examples like Forrest Gump, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Thor: Love and Thunder, and the Saw movies that have done the same pretty distastefully. Hence, you can only imagine my skepticism when I learned that the topic of today’s discussion, Speak Sunlight, is a...

“A Complete Unknown” is a departure for Edward Norton, even though he’s quick to point out he’s played kind-hearted souls before — including, surprisingly, referencing Smoochy the Rhino from “Death to Smoochy,” an early, unexpected, comedic zag in this interview from Norton while discussing his buzzed-about performance as folk legend Pete Seeger.
And he’s right. He has played, as he puts it, “decent people” — he’s most definitely not always in that wiseacre vibe of Worm in “Rounders” or flirting with the emotional rage and misery of Monty in Spike Lee’s “25th Hour.” But his interpretation of Pete Seeger is unique in that he plays him with this true north earnestness … but with an undercut of passive aggressiveness that comes biting through when Timotheé Chalamet’s Bob Dylan does something Pete doesn’t see eye to eye with. This happens quite often during the events of “A Complete Unknown.

Timothée Chalamet hasn’t paused for a second between starring in “Dune: Part Two,” “Wonka,” and “A Complete Unknown” in 2024, plus filming “Marty Supreme.”
The actor said during Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast that he just might be the most booked and busy star in Hollywood, especially given his immersive dedication to roles like when portraying Bob Dylan for biopic “A Complete Unknown.”
“You’re never supposed to say you’re competitive but…there’s been a lot of music biopics and I wanted to do a great fucking job. I love Bob Dylan, I love this artist. None of this is for granted,” Chalamet said.
And the “grit” of working on films, rather than TV, is what drives Chalamet.
“There is this little misconception about actors too. You can have a cushy job on a TV show. If you give a shit about your work, it could be a great lifestyle.

Lisa Kudrow thinks there is “No Good Deed” that could emerge from a rise in AI onscreen.
The “Friends” alum said during the “Armchair Expert” podcast that films like Robert Zemeckis’ “Here” are like an “endorsement” for AI. “Here” was a “Forrest Gump” reunion between the director, Tom Hanks, and Robin Wright; the film digitally de-aged its two leads with the assistance of AI-driven tools.
“They shot it, and they could actually shoot the scene and then look at the playback of them as younger, and it’s ready for them to see,” Kudrow said. “All I got from that was, this is an endorsement for AI. It’s not like, ‘Oh it’s going to ruin everything,’ but what will be left?”
She continued, “Forget actors, what about up-and-coming actors? They’ll just be licensing and recycling. Set that completely aside, what work will there be for human beings?...

Making a successful movie in Hollywood is a challenging feat for even the best filmmakers. Then again, sometimes even the greatest cinematic endeavors get overlooked as a result of circumstances beyond their control. For every surefire hit like "Jurassic Park," "The Avengers," and "The Dark Knight," there exists a handful of pictures moviegoers ignore before discovering them years, even decades, after their initial release.
Classics like "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Office Space" failed miserably at the box office but eventually became beloved cinematic treasures after hitting home video and cable. Others, like "Hocus Pocus," steadily accrued a devoted fan base over time, while "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" fell flat on its face but quickly reworked itself into a campy treat audiences could participate in, leading to prolonged success.

Lisa Kudrow condemned Robert Zemeckis’ Here, a film that uses digital aging technology, in a recent episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard. Kudrow references Zemeckis’ film, which reunites Forrest Gump stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, and calls the time-jumping film “an endorsement for AI.”
“They shot it, and they could actually shoot the scene and then look at the playback of them as younger, and it’s ready for them to see,” the actress said on the podcast. “All I got from that was, this is an endorsement for AI.

Lisa Kudrow recently appeared on the “Armchair Expert” podcast and criticized Robert Zemeckis’ latest directorial effort, “Here.” The movie, which notably reunited Zemeckis with his “Forrest Gump” stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, was released by Sony Pictures in November but flopped at the box office with $13 million worldwide. Kudrow took issue with the film being an “endorsement for AI” due to its de-aging technology which allowed Hanks and Wright to appear decades younger in some scenes.
“They shot it, and they could actually shoot the scene and then look at the playback of them as younger, and it’s ready for them to see,” Kudrow said. “All I got from that was, this is an endorsement for AI. Robert Zemeckis has been on the forefront of many technological wonders in the making of his films, dating back to the complicated filming process of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, which involved the tireless effort to combine live-action elements interacting with animated characters. Recently, Zemeckis showed ambition again with his film, Here. In this movie, he reunites with his Forrest Gump actors to show the events in the life of a couple from teen age to old age. This included using AI-assisted technology to de-age Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.
Deadline has recently reported that the Friends star, Lisa Kudrow, has viewed this movie as a worrying endorsement for the use of AI, just as the strikes from the Actor’s guild recently fought to keep it regulated. She spoke about the issue on a recent episode of Armchair Expert podcast. Kudrow explained, “They shot it, and they could actually shoot...

As excitement grows for Robert Zemeckis’ new film, Here, actress Lisa Kudrow has expressed serious worries about artificial intelligence’s growing influence in the film business. She believes that this technology could jeopardize performers’ careers.
Advanced digital de-aging technology is used in “Here,” which reunites Zemeckis with “Forrest Gump” actors Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. This permits actors to portray themselves as different ages throughout the film. In a recent episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Kudrow criticized this method. She referred to it as “an endorsement for AI” and warned that it might significantly alter the entertainment industry.
Kudrow said, “What work will there be for human beings?” Her interests extend beyond Hollywood. She cautioned that emerging actors would be forced to license their likenesses for unlimited digital use.
Tom Hanks, who stars in “Here,” has also spoken on the implications of this technology. On “The Adam Buxton Podcast,...

Despite the nostalgia factor of Robert Zemeckis‘ Here, reuniting him with Forrest Gump stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in a multi-generational tale, its use of AI bodes for a frightening future to some.
Lisa Kudrow recently criticized the film’s use of digital de-aging to depict the cast as their characters over several time periods as “an endorsement for AI” after the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes called for efforts to regulate the technology.
“They shot it, and they could actually shoot the scene and then look at the playback of them as younger, and it’s ready for them to see,” she explained on a recent episode of the Armchair Expert podcast.

Though Michael Conner Humphreys is best known for playing young Forrest in Robert Zemeckis’s 1994 film Forrest Gump, he went on to have an interesting career after the production. While Tom Hanks is the film’s main star, portraying the adult Forrest Gump as he meets real-life figures and innocently encounters American history in real-time, Humphreys's performance sets the tone at the beginning of the film. The Oscar-winning movie is famous for its stellar cast and iconic quotes from Forrest, both young and old.
When he was eight years old, Humphreys attended a casting call that was reportedly for "a young Tom Hanks with light eyes and a quirky disposition." Due to his southern accent and fitting appearance, Humphreys was chosen to play the younger version of Forrest. Humphreys and Hanks worked closely to make sure the child and adult characters resembled each other, with Hanks drawing on Humphreys' real...

Drama movies aren't usually the ones which people most like to watch over and over again, but there are some which lend themselves to rewatches better than others. When people talk about movies with rewatch value, they often talk about comedies, musicals and children's movies. These are often great comfort movies, so it makes sense that people would return to them time and time again.
Drama movies, while they aren't usually the best comfort movies, can be just as rewarding to watch multiple times. Compelling stories and performances are a must, but there are a few things which can give a drama movie added rewatch value. A humorous streak, an intriguing mystery and a densely layered plot are all factors which can contribute to making a drama movie just as rewatchable as a lighthearted comedy.

Run, Forrest, Run! Like seriously…runnnnnn!!!! Probably the last person you’d imagine being invoked in The Creep Tapes is Forrest Gump. Yet here he is, being praised by the still-unnamed killer of the cult-fave horror movies and Shudder’s top-notch sequel series. Turns out, the psychopath with a penchant for hiring unsuspecting videographers to film him in various scenarios before disposing of them in myriad gruesome ways is also a big fan of Tom Hanks‘ Southern simpleton. Shudder “He’s pure, he’s funny, he’s thoughtful…he’s historically important,” raves the seemingly Average Joe played so perfectly by Mark Duplass (The Morning Show) in TV Insider’s exclusive clip from this week’s season finale, fittingly airing on Friday the 13th. Going on to appreciate the special love between Forrest and his mother while filming himself on a country drive, his revelry is so rudely interrupted by...

Austin Butler is one of the biggest rising stars in Hollywood after his appearances in films like Elvis, Dune: Part Two, and The Bikeriders. If one were to describe the life’s work of Robert Zemeckis, perhaps a good start could be a quote from one of the characters in his latest film: “The future is the only direction we’re headed. It’s happening right now.” No one has launched themselves headfirst into the technological unknown like Zemeckis, sometimes even to the detriment of his own work. Yet, even at his most uncanny-valley-like, his relentless drive to push boundaries and create new cinematic experiences within the cultural mainstream remains unmatched. However, familiar as he may seem, with his latest film – an on-screen 30th-anniversary reunion with the stars of, perhaps, his crowning achievement, Forrest Gump (1994) – he manages not only to reveal a thesis statement on his entire career, but also dive into the experimental territory like never before.

Hanks' filmography has managed to find both great commercial success and award recognition, with many of his best films being classics that appeal to widespread audiences.
Tom Hanks has succeeded in both serious dramas and lighthearted comedies, making classic films in almost every genre. He's also known for his endearing off-screen personality, earning him recognition as one of Hollywood's most beloved movie stars. Toy Story is one of the most beloved children’s animated films of all time. The film series has remained timeless through the test of decades, still being just as iconic and culturally relevant as when the first film was released in 1995. Although many just think of the toys when the film is mentioned, its cast is just as impressive and surprisingly less talked about.

Names like Wallace Shawn, Tim Allen, and Laurie Metcalf were at the very center of the film. However, one of the most impressive names among its ranks has to be that of Tom Hanks, who voiced Woody. The actor stuck around for all of the films and has even done other animated projects since then.
However, many fans of the Pixar film will be disappointed to know that Toy Story was not his favorite animated film to do.

Of the top movies of the early 1990s, Ghost may have been the biggest that nobody talks about anymore. Think about it: it was the second highest-grossing film of 1990 (behind only Home Alone) and yet you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who could name a scene outside of the sensual pottery sequence. The PG-13-rated movie featured a meek and weak-willed character named Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) who was transformed into a confident, flirty, brash cartoon character when he donned an enchanted mask. He did commit acts of violence (the masked Stanley is particularly cruel to a pair of mechanics that ripped him off), but Stanley...
