would do it a certain way so he should try it more the way Carrey would do it. Eventually, at the suggestion of Tim Curry
, Paulsen said to them, "I'm not Jim and I can't be Jim. The whole reason you guys got me is because you can't afford him so if all you want is for me to be Jim then maybe I'm the wrong guy for this part."
