Christine Lahti's keeping busy. According to Variety, the Oscar and Emmy winner will return to the director's chair for the indie feature Any Way You Want Me. Lahti, who took home an Academy Award for her 1995 short Lieberman in Love, will direct the dramedy about a mother and daughter's shaky relationship for James Stern's Endgame Entertainment. The actress has also landed a gig in front of the camera opposite Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker in Noam Murro's romantic comedy Smart People, which begins production next week in Pittsburgh.
