Storyline

Karen has to take a ride in Frank's car. He's travelling with his wife, on his way to sell computer chips, which he obtained illegally. He suspects his wife is being unfaithful and tragic things happen, following a discussion. Karen escapes, reaching a lab where a scientist has discovered how to go back in time, and she returns by accident some minutes before the violent events. Then she tries to make things better, but things tend to become worse, as time cycles keep being repeated. Written by <luis.canau@mail.EUnet.pt>

User Reviews

An attention grabbing and fulfilling action film.
16 December 1999 | by jprice-3See all my reviews

A very credible cast makes Retroactive soar above the typical, predictable, and unbelievable action films that have flooded theaters in the 1990s. Although the film does involve time travel, it is well done from start to finish. Belushi nearly steals the show, but Travis is just as good as the Chicago Police Officer rebuilding her life. The nonstop action and pace of the film make it a must see.
