Trivia

Kevin Williamson was one of the screenwriters hired to write a script after Jamie Lee Curtis agreed to return, and he was said to have actually finished a draft or two with Curtis' input, involving a radically different ending. His version was not officially used, but he did several re-writes on set based on his treatment for the movie that became the final, filmed version. Williamson was not credited in the end as per WGA rules, which state that additional writers on sequels have to write at least 33% of the script to receive an on-screen credit. See more »

Goofs

Scream 2 is playing in the background in one of the scenes. However, the original Scream had the first Halloween playing in one of its scenes, thus effectively negating the universe the Halloween movies take place in. See more »

A great sequel.
23 October 2018 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

After so many poor follow ups, H20 serves up thrills and spills, with the franchise managing to go bigger, and yet get back to basics.

It's well acted, very well paced, and entertaining from start to finish. It's also nice to see the hunted become the hunter, great to see Laurie get revenge on her sadistic brother.

Curtis is great, Hartnett is cool also, although why's he wearing a shirt six sizes too big for him?

Some great moments, it's very suspenseful, kind of builds on the success of the Scream franchise, it very much has that vibe as opposed to it's predecessors.

One of the best. 8/10
