The murderous fisherman with a hook is back to once again stalk the two surviving teens, Julie and Ray, who had left him for dead, as well as cause even more murder and mayhem, this time at a posh island resort.
Ever since killing the Fisherman one year ago, Julie James is still haunted by images of him after her, causes her relationship with Ray Bronson to suffer further. When her best friend Karla Wilson wins free tickets to the Bahamas, Julie finds this a perfect opportunity to finally relax. But someone is waiting for her. Someone who she thought was dead. Someone who is out again for revenge.Written by
There are two distinct teaser trailers to this film. One is the more prominent teaser, in which Julie is at her therapist's office recalling the events of the first film. The other teaser trailer features Julie visiting a confession booth at church, in which the scene reveals Ben Willis in place of the priest, saying "I still know....", which causes Julie to scream. The church scene trailer was released first before the therapist office version, and has since been lost. A search on YouTube shows no posting of this version. See more »
The title itself is a goof. The movie takes place one year later, so it should be: 'I Still Know What You Did the Summer Before Last'. See more »
This island didn't have a murder rate until you people showed up!

After the credits are over, there is the sound of a hook slashing through flesh and Ben Willis' horrific (distorted) laugh. See more »

no more sequels, please
Every time that there's a cool new movie, they just have to make a sequel. "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" pretty much repeats everything from the original, minus and plus some cast members. I just hope that they don't make another "know what you did" movie. Not only is there nothing that they can add to the concept, the title is inaccurate: it should be "two summers ago".
So, stick with the original and you won't be disappointed. At least "Scary Movie" spoofed these sorts of movies. Starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy Norwood, Freddy Prinze Jr., Muse Watson, Mekhi Phifer and Jeffrey Combs.
