When Barney joins his young friends on the school playground, each is secretly a bit jealous of another classmate. Baby Bop and BJ are already in their own jealous disagreement.
BJ eats so many pancakes that he gets a tummy ache. Every time he sees a circle or something round, it makes him think of the pancakes, which makes his tummy hurt all over again.
Kim is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her adopted baby brother. Her excitement sparks the group to talk about similarities and differences between the friends' families.
The group hear the sound of band instruments. With enthusiasm and encouragement from Barney and Mr Boyd the kids learn all about the different instruments.
Danny has to make a presentation at school and is nervous because he has never had to speak in front of the whole class. Barney and the kids help him tackle his fear.
Mr Boyd needs some help to decide what color to paint the cafeteria wall. Barney and the children join in to help him decide by exploring the colors through a special color hat.
It's Monday, and BJ can't wait. Until Saturday, that is - the day he'll go camping. He's so excited, he doesn't know how he can possibly survive the long days until then.
The kids decide to plant a garden - a window box garden - with many different varieties of flowers. Barney, the gardener, encourages his friends and helps them with their garden.
Ashley and Alissa show everyone their dresses they will wear to their Aunt Rachel's wedding, all the kids become excited to meet her and decide to show her round the school.
The kids receive a letter from a friend who moved away, so they decide to send one back. They put together a package with all her favorite things, sweet treats, a teddy bear, a Mother Goose book and a radio.
