Here’s Everything Coming To Disney Plus Next Month
Yesterday I wrote up on the names of films and TV shows that would be leaving Netflix over the month of March. Now, the circle of life streaming services dictates that today I bring you the names of films and TV shows that will be joining the new kid on the block, Disney Plus. Some of these titles will be familiar to those who read the previous piece, too, and they at least start out easily recognizable.

March 1 – Doctor Doolittle 2, Ice Age (everybody knows what they are). March 4 – Black Panther (ex-Netters). March 5 – Bedtime Stories (getting obscurer). March 6 – The Finest Hours, Three on the Run (completely lost now).

This is where things get messy, as we’ve got a whole bunch of TV stuff that I doubt anyone is subscribing to Disney Plus for, except… maybe Star Wars: The Clone Wars? Some people are into that, for some reason. Anyway, if

Iowa Caucuses: Networks Dive Into “Most Intense Period” Of Politics
The news anchors and network producers trekking to Iowa this weekend for the Iowa caucuses will be just at the start of what will be a frenetic schedule of impactful breaking news events.

On Sunday is the Super Bowl, which will feature Sean Hannity’s pre-game interview with Trump. On Monday is the caucus. The State of the Union is on Tuesday, followed by the Senate’s final impeachment vote on Wednesday and the ABC News/Wmur-tv/Apple News New Hampshire debate on Friday. The Oscars follow soon after on Feb. 9 — and it’s likely to have some kind of political tinge.

“It is the most intense period I can ever recall in politics,” ABC News’s political director Rick Klein said from Des Moines. “It is uncanny how many things are converging as big storylines at the same time.”

The Iowa caucuses are the official start of voting in the 2020 presidential race,

ABC News Suspends Correspondent Matt Gutman Over Inaccurate Report On Kobe Bryant’s Helicopter Crash

  • Deadline
ABC News has suspended Chief National Correspondent Matt Gutman over a false statement he made during an on-air report Sunday in the immediate aftermath of the helicopter crash that killed NBA great Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other people.

In his live report on Sunday, while details about the crash were still scarce and amid a lot of misinformation on social media, Gutman erroneously said that all four of Bryant’s daughters had been on board.

He subsequently acknowledged his mistake and apologized on-air, noting that the investigation into who had been in the helicopter was still ongoing:

Today I inaccurately reported it was believed that four of Kobe Bryant’s children were on board that flight. That is incorrect. I apologize to Kobe’s family, friends and our viewers. pic.twitter.com/yYwuB9vpZl

Three days later, Gutman, an award-winning ABC News veteran,

Sharyn Alfonsi Starts to Broaden Her Profile at ’60 Minutes’
Sharyn Alfonsi admits she’s having something of a “crazy season” on “60 Minutes.”

Her work this year for the CBS newsmagazine has taken her from an investigation of the death of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein to a profile of beloved comedian Adam Sandler. The Sandler feature, which aired late last year, proved to be a “palette cleanser” of sorts, after Alfonsi spent time interviewing El Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele and gaining access to the cell in which Epstein was held.

Alfonsi is being awarded a Columbia University-du Pont Silver Baton this week for her reporting on the migration crisis on the U.S.-Mexican Border, a sign that her work at the newsmagazine, where she serves as a contributor, is gaining a wider profile. “I’m kind of trying to pick up the number of stories I’m doing, but with the idea that [executive producer] Bill Owens gave me: ‘Don’t
