Storyline

A rare atmospheric phenomenon allows a New York City firefighter to communicate with his son 30 years in the future via HAM radio. The son uses this opportunity to warn the father of his impending death in a warehouse fire, and manages to save his life. However, what he does not realize is that changing history has triggered a new set of tragic events, including the murder of his mother. The two men must now work together, 30 years apart, to find the murderer before he strikes so that they can change history--again. Written by <jgp3553@excite.com>

Goofs

The plastic wrap for the wallet after 30 was old and dusty. Yet the writing on the table was 'live' and still warm to the touch. The writing was generated as Frank wrote it on the desk in the past similar to how other time changes occurred. John touched the burn expecting it to be hot but realized it wasn't. See more »

Stand up and Cheer!!!
18 April 2000 | by alley19627See all my reviews

You can't help it!! You have to cheer and applaud this movie. I can't remember the last time the whole audience clapped at the end of a movie. It has been such a long time since a movie was made that warmed your heart, while keeping you at the edge of your seat. This movie will make you laugh, get a little misty in the eyes, and you won't even notice the time. You're almost sad to see it end. Dennis Quaid is excellent, this is his best movie in years. This movie also has some new faces you won't soon forget. Don't take my word on this, see it your self. You will be thinking about this movie for weeks.
