Good show
JBoze31314 October 2000
I have only seen a few episodes of this show, but from what I have seen, I like it. It's got a more mature feel to it than most of the shows on Nickelodeon, and the actors in it are really good. I especially like Felton, who plays Caitlin. She seems to be a really good actor and she's got that look that goes well with a show like this. Not to mention, though, I think she's only 16 or 17. You might like the show anyhow, because of the good storylines, the great acting, and the overall feel to it.

Why? was it taken off air it's the greatest show
Cjericson22 September 2006
Why was this show taken off the air so quick i mean it was one of the best shows on. If its not going to be on air then i think it should at least be put into a DVD VHS or something like that. I know like 10 other people who liked this show and it just disappeared. which made me kinda angry, this show was really the one thing i looked forward to and now ... its gone. In my opinion who ever decided to take this show off air was seriously out of the mind it was one of the greatest shows created. I'm a big fan of this show and if i haft to go to every sight to get it back on air thats one thing I'm willing to do. So please put it back on air. *Wisdom*

Show from my childhood
blackxmolly30 July 2023
This was one of my favorite tv series grown up, it was a true show for teenagers and I could really relate when I was just 10.

I wanted be more like caitlin then, the show tackled alot different things and subject that needs to be talked about more. The title song is really catchy and addicited.

I wish Nickelodeon didnt take this of the air, it needed more seasons so we could follow Caitin until she was a young adult, maybe it could be still there but for teeangers as late night show. I feel like this need to have dvd release and a music release! So that younger generation can enjoy this as much as I did.

Great Show
eon-730 October 2005
I used to watch this show when I was 11, and as a girl that wasn't like the girls on the other shows that were on Nickelodeon. I loved this show and it helped introduce me to photography, which is still a hobby and eventually career for me.

I wish that there were more shows like this on TV now, so that kids don't have to watch shows that are not made for children in order to be entertained.

The fact that she was from Philadelphia moving to Montana I also thought was great, going from New York to Oklahoma, I thought I had similar experiences. I hope this show helped more kids to understand that they don't have to be rough around the edges all the time.

Decent show!

Nickelodeon did something right here. They have a live-action show with a female heroine, a rarity on Nick these days. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that this is going to go the way of "Space Cases" (rest their souls after an untimely death!) and will be cancelled before its time because Nick will want more cartoon shows. This show doesn't deserve the fate it will get, and Lindsay Felton is going to be a STAR! And Jeremy Foley wins the award for Best supporting performance in the role of a dorkish character that no one is supposed to like. So just watch this show!

Nick TV Series Proves To Do Well
jason_fuerst4 January 2004
While flipping through the channels, I stumbled upon Nickleodeon. I watch this channel religiously when Cheers, Roseanne, Wings, Cosby Show and Three's Company are on in the evenings.

While the acting may not have been top notch, and the cinematography was a little too cliche'd and dramatic for my tastes, the script seemed to do well, by keeping my attention. The one major drawback of the series is the constant music, for tense, dramatic and 'action' scenes, when the kids were on their dirtbikes. If they scaled back the amount of music, the series would have been even better.

Not great or near great, but definitely better than most TV shows. And if they can keep a 20-something year interested in the show when it was geared for kids, then my hat goes off to the director and producers.

7.5 out of 10.

Just a Kid...

To me this is a cool show and I enjoy watching repeats late at night on nick. ah memories of 5 years ago.

But overall, this isn't meant to drive kids into acting like deadbeats, it's to show the struggle of how to be responsible as a person and even in the worst of times you can turn your life around. But how deep down, we're all just teenagers still and do have the right to do some immature stuff.

It also appeals to my animal side, and I guess any horse lover or animal lover would get into some of the episodes, since her auntie is a veterinarian.

I like it.

eh.

One of the best

Caitlin's Way was one of the best shows Nick ever had. It had a serious and well written plot to it and I tuned into it every week. From the first episode where Caitlin arrived at the ranch in Montana instead of jail and was able to get her horse Bandit to all the other episodes I loved it.

Awesome show with great actors/actresses!!!

"Caitlin's Way" is a great show! I watch it every Sunday, religiously. It has great actresses such as Lindsay Felton and Jeremy Foley. I definitely think this show is a winner!!!! As long as the great young actors/actresses don't leave this job for something maybe a little more mature... I think if Nickelodeon will keep it! Also, Jeremy Foley is VERY cute!!! (I'm a big fan of his!)

AWESOME

I Like this show a lot and I haven't missed an episode. This show is about a 14 year old girl who went to live on a ranch because she didn't want to go to jail. She had trouble adjusting at first but it worked out. I think that this is one of the better shows on Nick because it a show that kids and teens can sort of relate 2.

When will it end?
wishkah710 July 2001
I absolutely _abhor_ this show and the fact that Nickelodeon picked it up to show on their so-called "kids" network. It's about a teenage girl whose a stereotypical street rat who's been shuffled from foster home to foster home since the untimely death of her mother. And she had to grow up fast, how typical of a teen show comedy or drama. Then after getting in trouble with the law, her options are juvie hall or to live with her aunt and uncle in a redneck town in Montana. Sure enough, she ends up in Montana, but she still has an attitude problem and acts like a punk. And the only thing Caitlin harbors love for his her horse. What was Nickelodeon thinking when they picked up this show? This is shown to kids? This could give kids a bad message that it's okay to disrespect your elders (Yes, people, Caitlin is rude to everyone around her!) and act like a smart-allecky street urchin! This show isn't good for teenagers, either. When will all this a-kid-grows-up-fast-and-acts-and-talks-like-an-adult-and/or-smart alleck crap going to end? Can't kids and teens on TV shows JUST ACT NORMAL?! I think that it's high time Caitlin's Way gets a one-way ticket to hiatus-land! It was be for the better if this show never came to television again. If you don't want your children growing up too fast too soon or running away and living on the streets, and telling people off, and getting in trouble with the law, then find something better to watch...like say....Get Smart?
