Trivia

One of the presenters was Jeremy Irons, who would later feature in "Die Hard (3): With a Vengeance", where the character Jeremy Irons plays, called Simon, would use the phrase "Simon Says..." as part of the plot, in the same way it was used on Play School. This may or may not be a deliberate call back to his earlier acting career, but it certainly gives UK viewers a big of a nostalgic callback to a certain time in their lives. See more »

Before School
2 February 2002 | by Jools-10See all my reviews

For many children my age before you went to school you got to learn some of the basics from Playschool. Watching with your Mother/Father you got to learn about imagination, stories, playing, colours, numbers etc. It was a sad day when this show was cancelled because it was like cancelling your childhood.
