The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • At the end a man walks up to a wall that has all the names of the men who died. This is a very emotional scene.
  • When a wife sees a cab, she assumes that her husband died. She opens the door and starts to have a breakdown. The cab driver reveals that he needed help delivering the news of husbands dying in battle. The stack of letters is very tall. She says she will break the news to all of the wives/children. When she delivers the letters the wives usually have a breakdown or burst into tears. This can be very emotional to some viewers. The next day, the stack of letters has doubled.
  • There is a scene where they are trying to medevac a victim of napalm, and as they try to lift him, the skin on his legs tear from his muscles, and you here his pained scream. It is possibly the worst moment from the film.
