Peter Larkin, a New York City Broadway scenic designer designed the original Edwin Lester produced Los Angeles and San Francisco production of the 1954 stage musical adaptation "Peter Pan." Mary Martin and the production moved to New York in October 1954 after the successful San Francisco and Los Angeles tryout run during summer 1954. NBC's Color Television network 90 minute anthology series "Producers' Showcase," broadcast the original Broadway cast performance on March 7, 1955, using the original production's sets and costumes. Peter Larkin supervised the Brooklyn television studio stage set-ups of his original stage settings. See more
