When the man in the cube watches the ending of his story on TV, the program has a Joe Raposo director's credit. Raposo was a friend of and frequent collaborator with writer/director Jim Henson.
This film features the talents of two collaborators who would stay with Jim Henson for the next 20+ years: co-writer Jerry Juhl, who wrote or co-wrote most of the Muppet TV shows and films; and muppeteer Jerry Nelson, who plays the Monk.
Although this film completely lacks the puppets that are usually associated with Jim Henson, several scenes utilize cutting-edge (at the time) chromakey video compositing, one of the technologies which Henson would later use to allow his Muppets to accomplish the "impossible".
