Sex & Nudity

  • Charley and Sue briefly kiss in one scene. A man sees a woman in a girdle. A man states that he might open a saloon with dancing women and says "Maybe I'll get me some."

Violence & Gore

  • Bloody and extended shootout takes place at the end of the film, where many characters are shot (Blood spurts from their wounds). A man is shot in the head (We see the bullet hole in his forehead and some blood). We see the dead body of a dog. A man is said to have his arm broken. A character is found dead, another wounded. Two men threaten a group of other men, forcing them to take off their pants as they hold them at gunpoint (One man beats another repeatedly with a rifle). A man is struck in the head with a mug of beer. A man is struck on the forehead with the butt of a handgun.

Profanity

  • Two uses of the S-word. God is called a "son of a bitch" in one scene, Several uses of 'God" "Piss" and "Hell".
  • Lots more cussing makes it moderate to me.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters drink alcohol in several scenes of the film; two men purchase cigars and smoke them later. Characters are seen smoking at moments in the film. The movie does not glorify drinking, no characters are shown to be drunk after drinking alcohol. Several characters are incapacitated with chloroform.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The fighting scenes might be a little intense for younger viewers. Talk of brutality to offend and anger the principle characters. Children are witnesses to gun play, though none are physically hurt. One of the main characters is shown suffering from PTSD.
