BEST Arg. show ever made!
lvilaguillen5 September 2010
If there was an Argetinian show, this is it! How could anyone ever imagine that one guy could ever imagine all this? 4 very different guys... doing each one of them what they're prepared to do... gathered together, working as a team, solving problems ''which nobody can solve''... what's the result of this? (plus very good sense of humor - realistic topics - some action - history facts events) THE MOST GORGEOUS TOTALLY AMAZING TALENTED SHOW!! If you're from other part of the world... whatever you're thinking live it all behind and give yourself the possibility to enjoy this TV work of art... for me we could compare the difference (then GREAT SUCCESS) between JJ ABRAMS'S LOST and the other shows in Northamerica and ''LOS SIMULADORES (PRETENDERS)'' and the other shows in Argentina. In both cases you can only say ''There's no other like this. No other.'' 4 WORDS SAID from Damian Szifrom (Director-creator)--- Santos: Brain, Lampone: Strengh, Medina: Heart, and Ravenna: Humor-artistic (each one separated and together in a bigger and perfect body).

The Greatest Television Series from Argentina ever
meliser11 November 2002
"Los Simuladores" tells the story of 5 associates who run a "Simulation" business, that is, they simulate situations in order to make a person change his mind about something or help people to get out of different kinds of situations. The series is highly entertaining. The different roles the actors perform are truly marvelous and the stories are wonderfully told. To sum it up, it's a great show, with an excellent plot.

The best TV series ever made in the world!
joadelav30 January 2008
This TV series is the best a human mind can create. Is about four men that solve problems, but this problems occurs to normal people with normal lifes. The method they use to solve problems is the simulation.

Many people in Argentina thinks why this series being remaded in other countries hadn't have the success that had in this country. In my opinion the answer is simple, Los Simuladores is a series to be made only in Argentina for the type of humor, themes treated and also the problems that this four men solve are typical for Argentina's habitants. That's why Los Simuladores inmediatly entered in Argentinian's homes. Los Simuladores are so Argentinian as Maradona or Tango are.....

Los Simuladores vs. Vengeance Unlimited
luisheritier12 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Hi, this comment is, in some way, a reply to Mariano's comment. His comment was very useful to me (thanks!) as I discovered Vengeance Ulimited through it.

Afeter watching some chapters (which I liked) I can see some of the points in common (people providing justice where it is absent, in a non aggressive way mostly), although I see also many huge differences.

First of all, just like many other Argentinean productions of the time, it is meant to be fun and entertaining. All "operatives" or "simulations" are completely-non-aggressive (or free from any kind of intimidation), while Vengeance Unlimited is non-completely-aggressive (or free from severe injuries). You won't see any of the members of the Team attacking people by any means. It is all about cheating people. And therefore, Los Simuladores becomes funny, as operatives become sometimes completely delirious.

Another huge difference between Los Simuladores and Vengeance Unlimited is that the first is about a Team Working organization, while the other is a One man effort (with assistants). This also changes things a lot when thinking of the comedy opportunities, as well as plot complexity.

Finally, in Los Simuladores the perfection of planning of simulations is the key to success, while in many Vengeance Unlimited chapters the subject of simulation becomes aware of it (and therefore ceases to be a simulation at all) and things are arranged in a much more old fashion style.

Anyway I really enjoyed Vengeance Unlimited too, and I would love to get Stingray and The equalizer considering the information I found on internet...

One of the best TV series in Argentina. Realistic and original stories. Small budget in the production but with astonishing results!

From all of the tv shows that I've ever seen from Argentina, this is by far the best one. A very good execution of an amazing idea.

Is it the best argentinian TV series ever made?
mcingolani10 June 2003
If You only watched this series, and had to suffer the other really poor series made in Argentina (Adrian Suar one's, and so on). So You may think that this one is the best. But in other hand I could show You that the script, or maybe the whole idea or project, was "inspired" in two, not well known here, previous series. They are "Stingray" 1986-1987, and "Vengeance Unlimited" 1998-1999. I've to admit that "Los Simuladores" is a good series, its director, its actors, its photography, etc., anyway it have some serious flaws. But I can´t forget it isn't an original script, it's a non annunciated adaptation.

So if You think that it is the best argentinian series ever made, I want you to remember there was two previous series that told the same story with a much more precise and flawless script. I encourage You to try to watch any of this previous series, so you'll can make your conclusion. I think that it is just a good "not original" series, that could be even better.

A good product, but not even close to perfection
Martin_Pato23 April 2016
I just re watch "Los Simuladores" and find so many thing poorly made... the script it's just great, the character development is the strong point of this series but at some point the show just go down whit the quality, too many things whit no sense, the characters just do things without think about it!! it's like the victims or the bad boys just don't have any motivation at all,are easy to handle and at some point even stupid.

Damian Szifron is a great director but whit this...i think was a little lazy near the end. Anyway, the first season is a must watch for any Argentinean, the second...well in my humble opinion was a mistake.

Ricci's name on the show
user-38792 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I am a big fan of the show and I'm from the country of birth of that series. While reviewing the information on the page, I came across a missing character's name on the cast list. Well, since i happen to have that data, I'd thought I could share it with the community.

On the show, the actor Juan Carlos Ricci, is usually addressed to as "El assisting", or "The assistant", however, on the episode in which the "B-Team", is arrested by the FBI, the character's last name is shown to be Gaona.

It's good to know that everybody's giving such good rates to the show! Keep up the good work with the page.

Germán (you kinda pronounce it like Hermann)
