Sex & Nudity

  • There are kissing scenes here and there. Some sexual comments appear in the show rarely.
  • Announcer and most female participants wear mini skirt, dress with cuts so the bare legs are shown.

  • Some people explain of their life,hard times,and talk of their loved ones dying. Nothing is shown.

  • All foul language is beeped or skipped. Mild cussing may appear in songs, but all really foul words are either skipped or replaced with a cleaner word.

  • The season 5 audition contained a disturbing female amateur, such as the infamous "Paula Goodspeed" threatened the judges after being rejected. Even her infuriated speech after leaving the studio is very unsettling. She committed suicide nearly three years after this incident.
