The Glo Friends

Apparently, there was a series of toys called Glo Friends in the '80s that spun off this short-lived TV show about cute, benevolent glowworms having to contend with homely, vicious moles called Moligans who spend their days mining. It was mostly one of those shows that tried a little too hard to be cute. I did like the mishaps involving Rook, and I always found it funny when the one glowworm (I don't remember any of their names) drew a botched picture of Nails and sent her into conniptions.

This show probably won't appeal to anyone over the age of ten, but did have a few interesting scenes during its very brief run. Voice artists include Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson), Frank Welker (Fred on "Scooby-Doo" and Ray on "The Real Ghostbusters") and Roger Carmel (Harry Mudd on "Star Trek").

"I kiss the ground you walk on!"

This was one of many cartoon shows I've watched when I was a little kid. It is a more obscure cartoon though, but I thought it was somewhat entertaining for me at the time.

The show features a stories a group of friendly glow-in-the-dark worms called the Glo Friends that try to get along with their bad-tempered neighbors, a group of moles called The Moligans.

I don't remember too much from the show, but it did create nice childhood memories - there are some fun adventures and a little of good guy vs. bad guy action.
