Sex & Nudity

  • "grow some bolts" is said (in place of "grow some balls").
  • Ratchet flirts with Cappy; nothing too explicit, but some minor innuendos here and there.
  • A robot in a pink dress says, "I get the Brazilian wax, so every day feels like a fiesta!"
  • An infant robot's bare buttocks is briefly seen in an intro shot.
  • Some jokes about Bigweld being into "big women", namely a robot with a large rear end who likewise makes comments about him being "a lotta robot" and "he stills my pump".
  • A robot couple, in the process of building their new son, have to hammer in a bolt for his penis (the bolt is never seen; younger viewers might not get the joke).
  • Fender shrieks and tells his friends not to put their hands up his skirt as they give him a boost up to a high driving truck.
  • When the repair question "Who wants to get fixed?" is asked of robots, a small robot dog looks nervous and covers his crotch area.
  • To divert Ratchet's attention away from Rodney, Cappy playfully tells Ratchet that she'll show him her casual, fun-loving side when she returns.
  • We see signs for a men's and women's restroom that show symbols for male and female electrical plugs.

Violence & Gore

  • After Rodney gets magnetized, a fire extinguisher gets stuck to him, and it shoots across the air like a rocket, and it slams Rodney into a billboard, and then the rest of the stuff coming toward Rodney (since he is magnetized) hits him, and Rodney tears through the billboard, and falls a long distance, and he isn't presumably knocked unconscious inside a barrel. However, he is fine.
  • An unnamed Bigweld Industry employee is sent down a chute to be disposed of; his scream is heard echoing.
  • A robot is taken into a chop shop, a blade comes close to his head, he gets caught on a long spring, he falls, he nearly hits the floor, he lands on a conveyor belt and is being taken into the melting room.
  • A conveyor belt in a dark, underground plant takes scrap metal through being hammered, cut up and eventually into a melting room (we see large flames).
  • Robots are frightened when a street sweeper comes along and they say that it picks them up and takes them to the "chop shop." Many robots panic and scramble when a large robot rolls through the street. "Choppers" chew up robots and spit out bolts.
  • A robot dances and when he flings his arms and kicks his legs he kicks and punches other robots. Two robots fight with metal pipes, and one robot is tossed into the air, and is caught up in chains and he dangles from the ceiling. A robot hits another robot in the head and its head spins around, and a robot hits another robot on the head twice.
  • Two robots travel in a ball that travels along chutes, they are catapulted and flung, we hear them screaming and see them being pushed against the sides of the ball; one robot's eye falls out, he puts it back in, one robot vomits (we hear gagging), the ball is hit with a hammer and sent through the air, and then one robot is hit by another hammer and sent through the air.
  • A robot scratches up the back of another robot with her sharp "nail." A flying robot holds another robot in the air, a bird lands on them and begins pecking at one robot's eye.
  • A robot panics, bounces around a kitchen breaking plates and knocking things over. A robot breaks a plate, and throws things at another robot hitting him in the head. A barrel filled with ball bearings spills, two robots slip and slide on them, they fall onto the floor, and one robot loses his head (literally). A robot with a large posterior compartment bumps into robots and other things.
  • There is a intense battle between robots and the villain's bots. People are beaten, flung, robots are destroyed smashed, kicked and beaten and dismembered and destroyed in various ways. One of the robots has these carts. Large sweepers with big chopping blades in the front come after Rodney, but he manages to free Bigweld and they knock down many of them.
  • A chase scene ensues, with magnetic cars pursuing Bigweld and Rodney. During the chase, various characters who try to rescue them become trapped between two large vehicles equipped with magnets that pull on them. Rodney attempts to disconnect Ratchet's magnet. One of the vehicles carrying the good characters crashes and slides along the floor, while Bigweld ends up in a smelting area with the door closing behind him.
  • A tinier robot strikes himself in the head with a tool numerous times. Played for laughs.
  • There is a scene where Ratchet maniacally strikes Bigweld over the head with a telephone headset knocking him unconscious.
  • A robot loses his legs and grabs the first thing he finds to replace them (they are girl robot parts) as the conveyor belt goes near to the melting chamber.

Profanity

  • Mild phrases ("tuchis", "booty", "crud", "jerk", "fart", "ugly", "butt", "freak", "crummy", etc.), no swearing.
  • Some crude humour, including at least two fart jokes/loud fart noises, multiple butt jokes, Wonderbot defecating iron pellets, and Crank in the bathroom appearing to pee into a hole on the floor.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Robots are given cigars to smoke in an intro scene.
  • Various characters drink at a ball, including Ratchet and Cappy, while we hear an order for a "Screwdriver. Shaken, not stirred."

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Madame Gasket is quite visually hideous.
  • Bigweld's derelict house is a little spooky.
  • Fender suddenly expresses concern ("We're going to crash") that an enclosed, but open ball he and Rodney are traveling in suddenly falls off a large contraption and plummets downward (but it's just part of their transport routine and Fender says he was just kidding about the worry).
  • Various characters are caught between two large vehicles that each sport large magnets that equally pull on all of them as the vehicles race down the "road," with Rodney trying to unplug Ratchet's magnet from his. The one with the good characters crashes and slides along the floor, with Bigweld sliding into a smelting area (with the door to it then closing). The rest of the characters then have to save him before he's melted down and/or chopped up, but find themselves massively outnumbered by bad robots. But when they get back-up it leads to an intense fight.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The main antagonist, Madame Gasket, is defeated by being thrown into an incinerator, notably of her own, causing her to scream in horror before exploding to death. Her remains end up flying out in a firework-like fashion as a result.
