Towards the end of the movie, the café where Richard, Pen and Jerry were sitting (on the outside) is the same one featured in "Before Sunset" (2004) where Celine and Jesse went to after they ran into each other at the bookstore. The café is called Le Pure Café (as seen in "Before Sunset"). The letters on the glass door at the entrance - "LIQUEURS DE MARQUES" - are fully spelled in "Before Sunset", while in "The Love Punch" (filmed 9 years later) have some missing letters (only -IQUE-RS D- MAR-U-S remain).
