Sex & Nudity

  • Various sex references with mentions of virginity and intercourse, cleavages of women can be seen due to their clothing.
  • Two young nuns take turns kissing the abdomen and lips of a man who is unconscious.
  • A man is shown taking a bath, two young nuns enter the room and disrobe, their bare butts and breasts are shown as they enter the bath, a threesome is implied.
  • A man is implied to have sex with various nuns.
  • Two young nuns proposition a man for sex, they both disrobe, one of the nun's bare breasts is shown, a threesome is implied.
  • Two young men and women are shown milking a cow's udders in a sexual manner.
  • A man is shown having a sexual dream, he is seen thrusting in his sleep.
  • A man and woman are shown passionately kissing, the woman has her hand down the man's pants, it's implied he has an erection, but no nudity is shown

Violence & Gore

  • One person falls from a height and presumably dies.
  • One person's neck is sliced with a rapier, not deeply, but we see a raw open would several times thereafter.
  • Scenes of sword fighting. Many people are killed, some on-screen, some off. Little blood, no gore.
  • A man shoots a man.

Profanity

  • No strong language, mostly crude sexual language is heard throughout.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • No smoking. A priest tastes and comments on the quality of wine at a wedding. No other drugs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Bodies of plague victims are seen lying in the street, but mostly covered and at a distance, nothing grotesque is visible.
