Very nice documentary

This series of 12 episodes shows the life on a farm in Wales, in the year 1620. Five experts worked this farm for a full year, covering one month in that year (from September to August) in one episode.

Assisted by experts in various fields like thatching, hedge-making and coal burning, they also explain very clearly how life used to be in that period, which tools people used to have, and they work the farm using the same techniques and the same tools as there used to be.

Although the episodes show perhaps a bit more romantic life than it might have been on a real 1620 farm, I can certainly recommend this series for anyone interested in historical documentaries.

Warning: Spoilers
I learned a lot about daily life in the 1620s when watching this show. I love learning about day-to-day life and honestly would love to live here myself! Simply the way things were done back then is so fascinating and I would recommend anyone with an interest in that kind of history watch this series!

Of course its not exactly as it was, as they're discovering things along the way, but its as close to 1620 as can be. Ruth goodman and all the other people involved are so knowledgeable in their fields and all add their own charm to the year. Truly a delight to watch anything with these guys in it.
