This solid episode has Edith accidentally taking a wig of all things, from a local department store, and she fears she has kleptomania because an aunt of hers had it years ago. It's pretty funny when Archie finds this out, although he intends to get an apology from the store, although he's sending Edith there to get it. The grumbly James Gregory makes an appearance as the store manager, and Barnard Hughes portrays Father Majeski as only he could; he and Edith share a slightly touching scene at the church, as she wonders why she may have kleptomania, and since she refuses to see a psychiatrist, as Mike and Gloria want her to, she decides to see Majeski for advice. He eventually convinces her that the "theft" was a total accident because she was chasing down an elderly woman to tell her something about a bus, and when she finally remembers that a store assistant was a witness to this, she gives the Father a big hug in typical Edith fashion; the scene made me feel happy for her. Archie is more of a secondary character here, but I had no problem with it as the episode is still funny.
