Storyline

Agent Danvers dies in Steed's flat before he can give the exact location of a valuable dispatch that he has hidden. The flat is bugged and the avengers are pursued by a number of people taking part in a treasure hunt car rally organized by car-mad George Benstead to find the missing dispatch - the end result being truly shocking in the literal sense. Possibly the very worst Mrs. Peel episode.
16 April 2019 | by stfivpaSee all my reviews

In one sentence, I felt like I was watching an episode of something as inane as 'Batman'. The story was uninteresting and predictable, the blonde sidekick was utterly annoying, and the music was awful; what's more, Steed and Mrs. Peel we're also bumbling, inept, and annoying in this episode. I hope the five remaining Mrs. Peel episodes aren't anywhere near as bad as this. Oh, the cars were good, but that was it.
