- Valerie Malone: My coworkers say it comes from some deep hurt. Ususally in your teenage years.
- Ross Webber: Ah, you had experience.
- Valerie Malone: Yeah in the 9th grade some guy took me into the bushes and never spoke to me again. A guy who probably thinks I forgot. A guy who blabbed it to all the other guys. A guy with a big mouth and a weak handshake. An insecure guy, a blind type of guy. A guy who is too stupid to realize people are on to him. Even now maybe from a corner in this room.
- [Ross stares at Kelly who glares at him. His glass of scotch breaks. Val laughs, he runs away. Kelly raises her glass to Val who smiles]
- Valerie Malone: I just want to say that it's been peachy being you tonight. Thank you.
- Kelly Taylor: What kind of crack is that, Valerie?
- Valerie Malone: Well, I've been playing Miss Goody Two-shoes all night. It's been wonderful playing good. Thank you.
- [Valerie sees a wall tile plate which has the words 'Kelly is a slut' carved into it]
- Valerie Malone: Oh, "Kelly is a slut". Might be a different Kelly, right?
- Kelly Taylor: I wish.
- Valerie Malone: Snow White has a past? Oh, do tell.
- Kelly Taylor: You find that amusing do you?
- Valerie Malone: Ironic.
- Kelly Taylor: You of all people ought to know how something like that could stick. How people come back to haunt you.
- Valerie Malone: Any people in particular?
- Kelly Taylor: Ross Webber. Mr. Congeniality? Couldn't have missed him. A couple years older then everybody.
- Valerie Malone: The just-married guy? He did this?
- Kelly Taylor: He started it. Back then he was a senior. I was a freshman. One night after a football game we went up on Mulholland. And he took me into the bushes.
- Valerie Malone: Tell me it wasn't your first time.
- Kelly Taylor: Over in a minute. Ross left me there in the dirt. Never talked to me again.
- Valerie Malone: And afterwards, the whole school knew, huh?
- Kelly Taylor: I kind of got a rap for being easy. I tried avoiding him. In the hallways and at school events. He graduated a few months later. After a year or so, it just sort of faded away.
- Valerie Malone: And tonight?
- Kelly Taylor: The bastared tried to shake my hand. Acting as if the whole thing never happened.
- Donna Martin: [At the West Beverly 93 Reunion Committee] Rumors of my chasity have been greatly exaggerated.
- April Most: Oh how the mighty have fallen!
- Brandon Walsh: [about her divorce] I'm just trying to your friend on this.
- Andrea Zuckerman: Stop trying to second guess me.
- Brandon Walsh: [Walking the track with Andrea] The only useful thing I learned in high school, running in circles.
- Andrea Zuckerman: Kind of sad isn't it?
- Brandon Walsh: Not as sad as all that lying going on in there.
