A prostitute is viciously attacked and robbed, her attack coincided with the release of convicted thug Alvin Morton, Eddie is on the case, along with Polly, he has some interesting theories of how to deal with the case.
Very good, another strong episode, the show was once again going through a really strong run, so the story is a little far fetched, but there's no denying it's a dramatic and entertaining watch, a lot of it is down to the craziness of Eddie Santini.
It's really interesting, Eddie has moved on to Rosie, it looks now like Uncle Bob is next on his list, there is no end to the man's villainy. Once again Eddie manages to get off Scott free, he's always so plausible, under the spotlight here.
How great to see Michelle Gomez here, great as always, incredible how twenty years later she looks no different. Ben Robertson was really rather good as the villain of the piece Alvin Morton, some impressive tattoos, he really did look and act like something nasty.
Excellent, 9/10.
