Someone tries to kill a diva called Lois O'Neill, who was related to the mafia years ago, and a waiter is killed instead. The CSI investigates the case, but more than ever, nothing is what it seems.
The wealthy socialite Lois O'Neill is giving a birthday party in Las Vegas for VIP. She is a former dancer and singer that was the mistress of the powerful mobster Tony Constantine. When the waiter Tim Duke is murdered in her closet with a shot to the chest and the gun left on his body in a mafia style, the entire CSI team is assigned to investigate the case. Lois is missing and her assistant Eve Girard has found the body. When Grissom asks her to open a large vault in the closet, Lois is hidden inside. She tells to Grissom that she was changing her clothes when she heard the shot and saw Tim crawling on the floor. She immediately closed the door of the vault to protect herself. Soon they discover the real name of Tim Duke, the former boxer Vincent Pullone. When D. Robbins shows Grissom that Tim was paralyzed with the first shot, Grissom begins to resolve the case.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
