- The Angels are hired by wealthy, elderly and three year widowed Grace Rodeheaver after three burglaries at her mansion resulting in the loss of three expensive pieces of jewelry that were locked in her wall safe. As the jewelry was insured, her insurance company is wanting decisive action on her part to stop the burglaries, hence her hiring the Angels. The Angels have little to go on as there have been no signs of break-ins, and no unusual fingerprints on or around the safe. The Angels and Bosley believe it must be an inside job despite Mrs. Rodeheaver trusting her two servants, who have worked for her for twenty years, and her close knit group of friends. Among Mrs. Rodeheaver's associates is Madam Dorian, a spiritualist she uses to contact her dead husband, Harland, on "the other side". As such, Sabrina moves in with Mrs. Rodeheaver to provide further eyes and ears in her daily life, while Kelly goes undercover as a younger version of a Mrs. Rodeheaver, wanting spiritual guidance on what to do with her fortune following her wealthy father's passing. The process in employing the services of Madam Dorian is an introductory meeting first with her assistant, Terrence. In working on the case, Kelly could fall prey to the same thing facing Mrs. Rodeheaver, with Jill potential collateral damage in the process.—Huggo
- A rich widow, pressured by insurance investigators about the repeated disappearances of her jewelery, hires Charlie's Angels to solve the mystery. The girls get their first clue when the daffy old lady tells them that her dead husband manages her business affairs from the grave through a medium named Madame Dorian. Kelly assumes the identity of a rich Texas widowed oil heiress; Jill becomes her friend from the Lone star state and Bosley, their French chauffeur. Unbeknownst to the others, Madame Dorian's male assistant hypnotizes Kelly as he had done with the previous widows - to get financial information from her. During the trance, Kelly reveals her true identify as a private investigator and the abusive matron who ran the orphanage where Kelly was raised. Realizing that the con game has been uncovered, he programs Kelly to perceive Jill as a childhood "bogey person" so he can attempt a getaway. The hypnotized Kelly helps in his escape by keeping Charlie's team busy trying to stop her from killing Jill.
