The One Where Piper Has A Lot Of Arms...

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed this episode. It's not the best one but it's still very good. It's not my favorite Season Premiere, but still a good watch.

In this episode, we see Leo struggling with the fact that future Chris is gone. And tries to find Barbas. Leo and Piper go to Hindu wedding and they get transformed into Shakti and Shiva (don't think I spelt those right). Piper get's multiple hands, which was really creepy. And we find out that if they consummate their love, the world will be reborn. So they can't let that happen. Phoebe feels like she needs to take some time off work, so Elise hires a ghost writer, Leslie, who turns out to be guy. Eventually, Paige and Phoebe turn Leo and Piper back to their normal selves and they go and vanquish Barbas. I'm a little sad, because I loved Barbas quite a lot. He's been in it so much.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10.

Better than I remember.

Warning: Spoilers
After that frustrating end of an otherwise decent season. Anything looks better and can be seen as an improvement. Season 7 premiere clearly shows the series is on a lighter and simplified path. Barbas is finally vanquished (to writers defense, he was really overstaying his welcome), no future/parallel universe shtick, even Rose McGowan is trying to go back to her natural hair color. What remains are that annoying Sheridan inspector, Darryl The ingrate, and Phoebe's insane storylines. Piper and Leo being possessed by Hindu gods, was a cool and original way to go back to the monster of the week format. Him going crazy, after what happened in season 6 finale, make for interesting upcoming moments this season.

Warning: Spoilers
Attending a Hindu wedding Leo and Piper are possessed by Shiva & Sati which will destroy the world if they consort. I wish Charmed would do as it says by being a family show instead of using sleaze for ratings as they show them kissing or groping and not coming off as romantic at all. The sisters try to keep them apart yet it doesn't work as the heat is to hot and spends to much time on the fact instead of explaining if they are alive or how they fit into continuation.

Not only that Barbas finally is vanquished and says he'll be back but it doesn't explain how they gained the knowledge for the potion since his page says he's unvanquishable and only your greatest hope will banish him. At this point continuation doesn't matter yet it felt like they were at least trying to tell a good story. I just wish they hadn't had Leo kill an Elder even by trickery as it was out of character and he never pays a price making it feel hollow with emotion and not find tuned on what his future holds for such a crime.
