Guest actors Geert Loyens (Gino) and Kurt Loyens (Didier) are brothers. Geert is employed by art designer Kurt and works at his company Decosfeer as late as 2023.
Dimitri's role as antagonist can once again be questioned. He tells Bieke she can have his studio upstairs but because it's not finished yet Bieke "can't move in as of yet". He asks for more financial returns from rent while the offer remains sympathetic.
Oscar mentions Bieke's birth name "Beatrijs", shortening it to "Bea" like he usually does. "Bieke" is actually a hypocorism.
Walter Michiels (Pico) does not show up that often because of personal problems that were difficult to deal with. Michiels suffered from an alcohol addiction. Pico is seen in three scenes. First, he talks to Bieke about moving in his apartment. He is there to help move Bieke's furniture to her room as she returns to live with her parents and ultimately he is seen in Bieke's newly decorated room in a rather heartfelt closing scene featuring all the characters.
André Willockx and Ludwig Lenaerts do not make an appearance when the players gather in the cafe for training, despite being loyal members of the soccer team.
