Storyline

A whirlwind romance blossoms between Jerry Cass and Long Branch hostess Bella Grant, but the situation is complicated by the sudden appearance of Jerry's opportunistic brother Brisco. The couple announce plans to marry, but Matt becomes suspicious when Jerry tells him that Bella has suddenly asked him to agree to leave the ranch that he recently inherited from his father for six months to try living in the East. Matt subsequently learns that Jerry had never actually seen his father's will, but that Brisco had obtained a copy from the bank. The Marshal deduces that Brisco and Bella may be working together and when he reads the will himself, a clause in the document heightens his suspicions. Matt calls the three parties together to disclose what he has learned and to force Brisco and Bella to reveal their partnership and their intentions, but an unexpected outcome awaits. Sorry, not really a review but please allow? 🙏🏻 Just that it's such a TREASURE to find an early "GUNSMOKE" ep guest starring JAMES DRURY (the Virginian) and KEN CURTIS (Festus on GUNSMOKE in a few yrs) acting together! Both doing such an excellent job that i immediately forgot about them in the prior roles mentioned! 🎭 WAIT! Not to mention that Gunsmoke's hero James Arness is in this episode too! All so young! If you're a TRUE🤠FAN, you don't want to miss this episode!!
