Hey, have you heard of this coming out?

This is the second-to-shortest featurette on the 2-Disc Extreme Edition DVD of Alien Vs. Predator, with a running time of 13 minutes. It consists of clips of the film, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and stills. The focus here is clearly purely promotional, with snappy editing and fast-paced music, and this is a standard making-of production. They hope that we will clap our little hands, ooh and ahh, and go to the theater when it hits there(so it doesn't bomb). This has them talking about the concept(enough that anyone could punch a million holes in it, though of course no one present does, unfortunately), the design and the cast(that Anderson praises to the skies, not realizing that they all deliver pretty unremarkable performances… not that they could do that much with such poor characterization and script, I suppose). All in all, this "reports", in an obvious attempt to make us think that the final effort will be worth us forking over hard-earned cash. If you see this today, you probably already did. And I feel your pain. I recommend this to those who want to get hyped up about the flick itself. 6/10
