Hercules grudgingly swallows his prudery to pose near-nude as model in charitable arts competition organized by Salmoneus. Lusting for Hercules, Atalanta makes a metal statue of him, but divine smith Hephaistos endows it with life, without Hercules's brains or conscience. The 'clone' confuses people, disappoints doted Atalanta, gets willfully evil advice from Discord and soon causes havoc. Even Hercules finds it hard to dispose of such adversary with his own strength, but is ultimately also pleasantly surprised.
