Vic goes to Parris Island and investigates the case of a Marine recruit, his bizarre behavior, and his fraudulent enlistment; Vic creates an inventive and constructive resolution. Harm and Mac review their respective memories with each other, then they talk with each other, then they propose to each other. Jag - final episode
23 July 2006 | by paul-hinmanSee all my reviews

I realize that there could not have been any alternative for either Mac or Harm to resign in order for the series to end. However I think that General Creswell would have been in a position to let Harm take up his Captains Billet in London and Mac could have become a military attaché at the American Embassy in Londo, or she could have done a temporary posting with either the Army or Airforce JAG folks in Europe thereby preserving her commission and keeping her out of her husband's chain of command.

I really do miss this series. I would have liked to have seen more of General Creswell, he was turning out to be more of a pussy-cat than he would have liked to admit.

I must ask though if the Naavy would have allowed Harm to keep his carrier Quals up to date if he wasn't flying regularly. But then he flew often enough to be a hero and get decorated.

As a season ender I should have rated it a 10, I rated it a 5 because there were other alternatives open to Gen. Creswell. Especially in this era of two military careers in one family.
